Harb added: "It would have been better to mention the party that carried out the kidnapping and the reasons for the kidnapping, and whether it was for the purpose of paying a ransom or for political or personal reasons, but what the camera that showed the kidnapping showed was that the kidnapping occurred from more than one car and cut off a highway through which many of Cars, and this does not happen from kidnappers or from a gang, but rather from a larger and more capable side, as reported in many media outlets. Mary B
Al-Aqili: Very large corruption cases are politically protected, and the outlets are one of the most important silent files Time: 7/26/2020 23:20:54 (Baghdad: Al Furat News) The former head of the Integrity Commission, Rahim al-Akili, confirmed the existence of major corruption cases protected from politicians. Al-Okaili said (for Al-Furat News) that "the political parties have recognized their responsibility for corruption and the story lies in the inability to activate accountability and political will to confront corruption," noting that "the true protection of corruption is political and the judiciary cannot confront political corruption and if the state protects the corrupt, what does integrity do." He added that "the recovery of the accused and the money from abroad require conditions for success, especially since the corrupt personalities are protected by their foreign nationalities or their political influence." Al-Ugaili pointed out that "there is a legal text in all countries of the world that citizens cannot be extradited because their law and constitution do not allow extradition from outside the country of nationality, and the international police is a mechanism for coordination, not implementation." He added, "Corruption has led the state to bankruptcy and the most important step for the state is to impose transparency in contracts and investments," noting that "the integrity of its mission is to collect evidence and documents and present them to the judiciary; but there are very large corruption cases that no one can pursue because they are protected from influential political parties." Al-Okaili indicated that “most of the corruption files in Iraq revealed and the hidden files are no less dangerous than those that were revealed, but accountability in Iraq is lame and opens the door to corruption for all.” Pointing out that “the prime minister, if he has a will against corruption, will be able to eliminate it and the tools are simple through imposing Political will on the corrupt. " "The border crossing points are one of the most important silenced corruption files, and the army is not a tool to eradicate corruption in them," he said, stressing "the real need for real and effective remedies to stop all the gates of corruption." Al-Ugaili added that "all corruption funds are washed abroad, since most of the thieves reside abroad, except for the Kurdistan region, which is built with the money of the corrupt. There is not yet a successful experiment to recover money from abroad, and there are no scientific foundations to know the amount of money stolen from Iraq."
