TinyTim
would restoring your computor to an earlier date work?
Munsch
I didn't see this in the things you have done so I am going out on a limb here .... Did you clear your cache too? .... Adam said he made some changes to the coding and for us to clear old cache so maybe this has something to do with it?
Adam Montana
From tech support regarding your thread: "Response to ticket ID 39249-9017072232: Hi, What you can advise this user to do is update their Java once more as there has just been a new update released. If the problem still persists advise the user to uninstall their current java and download Java from http://www.java.com/en " Let me know if that works, preferably by PM in case I forget to check this thread again. I doubt if that was of any help for you but maybe. Just checked chat room and it looks like you made it OK - Great! It looks like pegsue has resolved her problem. After getting the error message after reloading and getting into the chat room. 8:09 PM [pegsue] Traconesu02 The reloading got me back in a little earlier but then the chat screen just changed to and error message. 8:10 PM [pegsue] Traconesu02 I cleared the history, cache etc and it came back up. pourit
Hey pegsue...I've tried everything I could too...I have NEVER been able to get into chat. I just gave up. I'm not that versed in computers and wouldn't know how to do more anyway. Hope you get in though. Good luck... POURITFORWARD
Adam Montana
Here's the final response from tech support: "I've read the thread, and it looks like the issue has been resolved. Typically such error message (Load Class Client Not Found) indicates a cache corruption issue. This isn't a common occurrence on most modern operating systems as much as it was when most people were running XP or earlier. Essentially, the Java cache (which can be stored in either the browser or the Java virtual machine) can get corrupted from time to time which leads to this error - it occurs with all Java applets. Resolving it simply requires that the caches be emptied, and after doing so all browsers should be shutdown before attempting to try again. To clear the Java cache (which should be done in addition to the browser cache) have the user enter the Java Control Panel (this can be found from the Windows control panel). From the control panel click "Settings" under "Temporary Internet Files" in the "General" tab. In the Temporary File Settings window, click "Delete" to empty the Java cache."
