Why am I limited to viewing topics I am following or have participated in.

Question:

 

When I check out "What's New?" without signing in I can view everything. When I sign and try to view whats new I am limited to viewing those topics I am following, i have started,  or have participated in. Why is that? I would like to sign and see all that is new from the last time I checked the site; this way I can comment on a topic as I choose to do so with ease and then move on to the next subject without having to sign out first to view additional new topics. 

 

Any help in this area is already appreciated.

You need to check your filter settings on the left hand side of the What's New Page:

Ok, how do I eliminate any "filters" under "other" ? That seems to be what is jacking me up.

Its a toggle, if it is selected, click on it, and it will remove the selection.

That did the trick. Funny part is I don't remember ever clicking it to turn it on in the first place. Thanks Markinsa.
