how does this tie into the Rv of the IQD?

IF and when IRAQ joins the GCC (fully again), then they will buy the GCC Currency based on what it is valued at, at that time.

just like IQD buying dollars today.

or

Dollars buying EURO today.

and there will be a transition period.

But this is far off in the future as IRAQ has not yet been invited to rejoin the GCC since they were removed during the 1990's

Not to be negative ,but Iraq has never been a memeber of the GCC. My prayers are now including a request for thenm to be a full member of the GCC....but to date they have never been one.

Sorry there BigMike, Iraq essentially started the GCC originally in the 80s. They have always been involved in the GCC, through both wars, and all the oil for food stuff.

Not trying to bash, just educate

The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (CCASG; Arabic: مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية‎), also known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC; مجلس التعاون الخليجي) is a political and economic union involving the six Arab states of the Persian Gulf with many economic and social objectives.

History

Created on May 25, 1981, the 630-million-acre (2,500,000 km2) Council comprises the Persian Gulf states of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The unified economic agreement between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council was signed on November 11, 1981 in Riyadh. These countries are often referred to as The GCC States.

Not all of the countries neighboring the Persian Gulf are members of the council. Iran and Iraq are currently excluded although both nations have a coastline on the Persian Gulf. The associate membership of Iraq in certain GCC-related institutions was discontinued after the invasion of Kuwait.[3] The GCC States have announced that they support the Document of The International Compact with Iraq that was adopted at Sharm El-Sheikh on 4-5 May 2007. It calls for regional economic integration with the neighboring states but there is no prospect of Iraqi accession to the GCC.[4]

just admit it dfrog you are the one that got educated. now you know.

in fact not only has it ever been part of the gcc, there is a potential that iraq may compete aginst the gcc. think about this senerio. us-isreal or whoever bombs iran into the stone ages, then rebuilds iran into a democracy. between iran and iraq those 2 could dominate the entire region.

You have to know how to read this stuff.

What I was posting was from the first post from Mike that Iraq was involved until the first Gulf war. They were kicked, but they have been in EVERY meeting for this even when they had sanctions put on them

The second post is a newer article. It says 1981-1982 at the end, but that is stating when they started this. Right below it is signed by the current members.

If they were invovled before invading Kuwait, then when did they join?

They will eventually be part of the GCC

Every prayer that we make should include a request for Iraq to join the GCC since it could be the only clear way that the IQD will ever have a substantial and rapid upward movement.
