The inspector general at the ministry, Alaa Muhyiddin said that "Iraq has canceled a project to link four with Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon line carrier for electricity," adding that "Iran is operated line voltage, which passes on the four countries for two weeks, but was refused the project by Iraq for technical and financial reasons. " Muhyiddin added, "The Iranian government equip Iraq currently, one line to the electrical current to be through equipping the Iraqi provinces." And Iran began last year, the talks with the representatives of the four countries on the project, which will provide the exchange of 1600 MW, distributed as 1000 for Iraq and 500 for Syria and 100 for Lebanon. "And suffer the Iraqi provinces of the continuing shortage of power supply due to foot power stations where increased schedules power outages for some cities and the provinces.
