Big Trouble in Little Cyprus

Wow,

It looks like Cyprus is trying to raise funds to prop up the Euro.

This will be interesting how all this will play out. Yesterday there was a 'run on the money' at the banks. Depositors went "nuts" withdrawing huge amounts.

This crisis was created when the communist government was elected into office six years ago. They spent money on social programs...,and, there was MUCH corruption (sound familiar?). Ultimately the government had to borrow money to keep paying 'bills'.

Fortunately even the left got tired of their own government. The right wing party of Anastasiades was voted in and is now cleaning up!

This scenerio is how the US will look like in a few years if we don't get our act together. If we don't, the disaster will be much greater!!

I have to agree with you parmenio and if you don't see it coming your going to be one lost sheep.  Or better yet lamb chops. 

 

This is not fear mongering.  It's all facts.  We are are connect to each other, when one link becomes week, the other links will eventually collapses.
