Thousands Protest Budget Delay

NINA has an article today suggesting that thousands are protesting in Front of Parliament over the budget delay. Can somebody please pull and paste the article here? Lets hope it pressures the MPs to get this done finally but that things don't get out of hand.

In front of the Parliament, thousands protest against delay approval of the budget.     26/02/2013  12:37:00

BAGHDAD / NINA / Thousands of citizens demonstrated, this morning 26, Feb in front of the parliament's building to protest against the delay of approving the Budget of 2013, demanding approval.

The reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / said "The citizens gathered in front of the parliament's
building to demand speed up passing the budget."

He added that "The security forces took heavily procedures and cut all roads leading to the
building of the House of Representatives."

It is noteworthy that the vote on the budget in the House of Representatives has seen a series of delays because of disagreements among the blocs and lack of approval. The yesterday's session was adjourned, which was scheduled to vote on the budget, and remained open until agreed upon. / End

Don't put too much hope on passing the budget to move things along. The Iwaki's will always have a whole basket of excuses for not getting the RV done....

You got to love them Iraqis.  They never let a good opportunity to protest go to waste.
