Planning announces rise in annual inflation index in Iraq by 8.3%

A spokesman for the Ministry Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning completed inflation report for the month of March through the collection of data field on the prices of goods and services comprising the consumer basket of a selected sample of outlets in all governorates of Iraq, "noting that" these rates are calculated from the goods and services including food, rent, transport and communications, health, education and others. " said Hindawi that "indicators of annual inflation for the period of the month March 2011 to March of this year, 2012, had risen by 8.3%, "attributing the cause of it," to higher prices for Department of Food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 13.2% compared to prices in March 2011. " The Hindawi that "the Department of Food and non-alcoholic beverages registered an increase during the month Last March, a rate of 5.5% compared to the previous month, "pointing out that" the inflation indices for the month of March rose is the other also slightly by 1.7% compared to last February of this year. WOW they are really getting hit hard with the percentage of inflation ,,, in the last few months i always thought their inflation was in the lower 20`s ,,, and they were fudging on the numbers ,too the news media,,, seems like they are getting back too the 20`s number again ,,,, sounds like the really need a cash crop too move out of iraq !!! { wait a second isn`t oil a cash crop?? } :o
