the most important news out of Iraq involves issuing the small denominations :

the G.O.I. wants the u.s.dollar out of circulation :

no Iraqi citizen will cash in their u.s.d. for the new currency unless the value is equal---IMO

also---the new small denom's will not buy anything at the current exchange rate

True, if the exchange rate on the new currency was the same as the old, but the new currency will have a higher rate than the old currency, so there will be no problem. That's the way RD's work.

Exactly, it would take about 106 10IQD notes to make a dollar at the current rate.
