leesburg Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 (edited) ford and gm ..hmm . wonder why .. the average iraqi earns around 6 0r 7 thousand a year ... ford and gm charge way to much for an iraqi to afford a car or truck ...especially a truck..unless they sell their vehicles made over seas ...where their labor is cheap and the regulations and taxes are alot lower ....to try and sell one of these american union made vehicles is out of their league .. we go in debt for years to own here in the states ....lol teasing those iraqis isnt nice ...they cant help it selling them a 40 thousand dollar f150 ..is like if i make 50 grand a year .. and they cost $400,000.00 here in the states .. i wouldnt be buying one .. A big majority of the people have money now, and will later have a great deal of money. The auto makers and businesses going into Iraq have done their "do diligence" and know that there is a ready and growing market for their products. Otherwise they would not be making the move.
