wouldchip
(07-12-2009)Banks begin new race for dong depositsThe HCM City Housing Development Bank (HD Bank) pushed up its highest deposit interest rate to 10.3 per cent last Thursday. stickman
war eagle thanks for you opinion but the dinar was not done overnight and the dong wont either so lets just wait and see. I bet you will get in when the dinar goes and if you don't that might be your loss or mine. Sorry to bother you with a different investment! allooh
About a week ago Viet Nam revalued the DONG at a lower rate for the third timeIt was around 17000 Dongs to a Dollar, now it is around 19500 Dongs to a Dollar. The Dong is cheaper to buy now. Viet Nam is keeping the Dong lowso as to stimulate their economy.I used Wells Fargo Bank online currency service to buy Dongs and Wons.$202.00 = 3.1 million Dongs$200.00 = 214000 WONsshipping and handling = $12.00I received circulated notes via FedEx within 10 days.Hope this helps. Earnest T Bass
Remember that Vietnam may also have dinar in their reserves. Could this assist in raising the value of the dong? Also I have been seeing where the dinar and the dong values are not being posted. Also there is the fact that Ali is selling dong like the dinar. Does he know something we don't? Personally I bought 4 million dong to hedge my bets just in case it RV first then I can take that cash and put toward dinar. Also since the IMF wants China to raise their currency, will they do an "all at once" move like the ME currency? This would only seem fair if they raised the ruan in China right? Just my thinking on the issue
