  1. Thanks for the post. I have a question - do we investors have to wait until ALL these debts are dealt with before we see a RV/RI????? Does anyone know? I was hoping that we are very close...
  2. This is only my humble opinion - as a non-Warka account holder - but I find it hard to believe that Iraq would now bite the hand that feeds them. USA is the owner of trillions of dinars and the anger and legal actions that would be taken would have such a negative impact, that Iraq would back off any such position very quickly - again, IMHO.
  3. Yes, I'm sure you are right - that oil is the foundation for the Iraq budget - and no, I can't explain it. However, I also think someone said that a draft of the budget contained currency figures that were coded and that the writers inserted in the blank spaces where a financial figure would be, Bahrain's dinar, at an assumed $2.65. I assumed that the coded value was not to be taken literally and that the Iraqi dinar's new value, once RV'd or RI'd, would be inserted in its place. Again, I'm making another assumption, but if this is true, doesn't it make sense that Iraq has to give their currency a value that both addresses internal budgetary demands and allows international businesses that are currently establishing themselves in Iraq, a way to more efficiently conduct business? Don't know, just guessin'...
  4. I interpret this to mean that Iraq has gained, or maybe is in the process of gaining the confidence of the international financial community or else they would not have been approved for these recent loans. IMO, lenders' assumption is that the RV/RI is very, very close giving Iraq an internationally valued currency. No one is going to loan Iraq that kind of money unless they think they are capable of and willing to pay it back.
  5. Hi, Mom with Dinar, Welcome to The Club (of dinar holders). My suggestion: Keep you day job, keep your life as it is now and don't count on a revaluation (RV) for a financial bail-out. The RV will happen, but only a few people in the world know rate and date. We do the best we can to put puzzle pieces together and come up with a complete picture, but the truly critical information is not freely shared with the rest of the world - that would be us. Like others have said - don't count on it until it's in the bank!
  6. I'm also going to help my son get out from under school loans. ughhh - college is terribly expensive these days.
  7. We'll be debt free soon and I need a new car. Places to go, things to do! lollollollol
  8. I'm working to step off the roller coaster, but this dizziness from the ride is throwing me off balance. lol
  9. Your message was soooo good to read. It has filled me with hope. My unemployment has run out and I'm not sure what I'm going to do because I have a son who, although he is an adult, is dependent upon me financially. Therefore, we are both at a difficult crossroads. You, chat room folks, are in my prayers and I would ask that we (my mother, son and me) be in yours. The dinar WILL RV - in God's time and with God's grace. Love to you all, Lars19532
  10. I couldn't get in this morning either so I decided to post something. I'm glad I made the mistake of starting a new thread 'cause now we've heard from y'all and it's great! By the way, posting something got us into the chat room.
  11. Fort Smith, right on the OK border. I think Ali plans on opening an exchange center here in town. We're glad, 'cause then we don't have to go all over the place. Where are you from?
  12. We're a mother/daughter team who invested in the new dinars four years ago and are now waiting to cash in. We have plans to help immediate family and then simply enjoy life. Thanks, everybody, for sharing in the chat room. It makes it soooo nice to wake up in the am and read what y'all have to say.
