  1. two kudos to you, Phoenix. Thanks for the laugh(s)
  2. ;) Stay tuned, man! Good stuff coming. It will be a little more complicated than "buy here then sell here", but this is good stuff that is coming.
  3. I'm paying more attention to Post RV now than ever before to be honest.
  4. dhill, despite the attempts of jealous and misguided individuals to harm this site and my name, DinarVets.com will continue to be the best dinar site out there because of the community and the leadership here. I will continue as I always have, with integrity and honesty. Stay tuned, and thank you for your support.
  5. I entered that into a translator and tried a few different languages, but I'm still not sure what you are trying to say.
  6. If I name the site, people will go there to look, and people will be harmed as a result of MY actions. Take my advice - look at the site, scroll to the bottom of the page. If it says "Powered by Vbulletin" etc then it is probably ok. KTF, IIF, and a few others use Vbulletin, like DV here. The ones you need to watch out for are the newer sites started by disgruntled attention seekers that have been banned from other sites. They get banned for a reason, people. Some of them get banned from multiple sites - for a good reason. Don't trust them.
  7. Hey VIPs! Quick update for the VIP members. There's a lot going on behind the scenes at the Montana Headquarters, and I realize I've neglected this section a little bit. *Note: After typing this out, I realize that this should be shared with all of the members. I am taking out the specific details on part of it, to be posted later in the VIP room. The important part, which pertains to YOUR security, is left intact. Please take this message VERY seriously! I have a request. Hear me out real quick while I explain the premise. You all know a bit of drama has been going on with some of our former members, mods, etc etc... If one were to look closely, you'll notice that they all have one thing in common - they want attention. I've never tooted my own horn like I'm about to, so pardon me if this sounds out of character. I have NEVER said "it's done on this date at this rate". On the same token, I have never had to say "Oh Iraq, we can't trust them, this happened and this happened and car bombings and *vomit*". I take a certain amount of pride in the FACT that I've never thrown BS predictions out there. People may accuse me of it, but if you ask them for proof - there is none. Here is some GOOD common sense for you all: If you can't tell how someone is making money on their time, you better beware their intentions!!! I make a couple of bucks on VIP memberships and my other Dinar ventures, and your support and loyalty keeps my work honest. (It would remain honest either way, I just simply wouldn't put the time into this place if it weren't worth it to me. I have other businesses that make plenty.) Now, look at these other sites out there. The people who claim to have contacts and intel, and don't want a penny for their time. Don't want anyone to help with the costs of hosting... where are they making out? Do you really think these faceless internet "gurus" are taking money out of their pockets month after month, out of the goodness of their hearts? No way is this happening. If these people wanted simply to share, why can't they do it here without trashing others to build themselves up? Why must they bring other people down in order to build up their own credibility? Why must they say "Oh that Adam Montana, he doesn't know anything!" ...and then immediately go into an RV prediction?! There is a good reason, and it's not good for you. These people do this for personal gain, and the fact that they hide this personal gain should make you very afraid to trust them. This brings me to a particularly disturbing part of my post. It has came to my attention that one of the former members of this site has started another website and is using it to steal passwords from people. They are then using the passwords to log in to members' accounts here at DV and other sites and change the passwords or steal more personal information. Word to the wise: If you don't see this notice at the bottom of the site, they are using unsecure software and you could be putting yourself at risk:
  8. Day 15. I had the BEST upper body workout I've had in a long time, it felt amazing! I was starving by dinnertime, but I kept my portions right and didn't over do it. Tomorrow is cardio, I'll be updating more after that.
  9. I went out for a quick (should have been) 20 minute run yesterday, which would have been about 2 miles... I took a random left, random right, ended up doing 2.6 miles! Woooooooooo! My wrist is screwed up from skiing the other day (I wish I had video!), and I definitely don't want to screw up my shins by running again, so I'm going to either hop on the elliptical or go swimming if I end up running some errands. It's been a while since I went swimming, I think I'll do that.
  10. Today is back to cardio. Cardio is the easiest exercise to fit into Body for Life, because it's only 20 minutes and you can do it anywhere. Like the rest of the program, you tune it to suit you - if your level of fitness allows you to walk around the block and get a good workout, that's what you do. If you need to run a few miles to hit that level 8-9-10... that's what you do! I was never a runner until a family member asked me to do a 5k run for charity last year. I had always "ran" on treadmills and the elliptical machine, and while you get a workout... it was never really fun for me. Running in a crowd of 500 people changed my view on running. Before last year, the furthest I had ever ran without stopping was 2 miles. On this cold, rainy day in April of 2009, surrounded by hundreds of other people getting soaked to the bone but having a great time, I pushed out the entire 3.1 miles! I owe a lot to the race crew who kept saying "one more block!", because if I'd known it was really another mile or so I never would have pushed myself like I did. As it turned out, it wasn't "one more block", it was more like 10 more blocks. When I finally made it to the finish line, I collapsed in a mud puddle and I was literally so wet from the rain that I couldn't get any wetter. When my chest stopped heaving, I drug myself up and went to get some water, smiling the whole way. "I just ran an entire 5k!!!", I was thinking. My brother is a nut - he runs a few marathons a year and last year he did a 50 mile and a 110 mile run out in California. A fun weekend event for him is an 8 mile "jog". When I told him I did an outdoor race, he said "Congratulations on your first fun run!". I didn't get it at the time, because while I had a good time... I couldn't see doing that for fun. It wasn't fun like skiing or boating, that's for sure! Over the course of the next month, as the weather got nicer here in beautiful Wisconsin, I did more and more of my runs outside. The fresh air and the change of scenery every block was more appealing than turning on CNN while on the elliptical. I found myself switching my routes up, taking random left turns and pushing further all the time. At some point, someone turned me on to mapmyrun.com (AWESOME!), and I've been hooked ever since. And finally, after a 4 mile run one day, as I lay collapsed on my lawn cooling down... it hit me. This really IS fun! That is what he meant by "fun run"... it gets addicting, and when you're in the habit of throwing on your running shoes a couple of times a week, as you are getting healthier and in better shape every day - it gets even more fun! The point is that you have to make this part of your life. Part of the body for life program is cardio, and that means three days a week you are going to be doing it. Swimming, treadmill, elliptical, running, or whatever. If you like tabloids - grab a copy of your favorite gossip rag and make it your Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday ritual - on the treadmill. If you love CSI - find a gym that has TVs or get a cheap TV off craigslist and throw it in front of your eliptical at home. If you're a nerd, like my wife, get the audio versions of the tax and audit law books you love and throw them on your iPod so you can enjoy your nerdy learnings while getting a good heartrate going. I'm obviously running today, and I can't wait to get out there!
  11. Hopped on the eliptical for 20 minutes on Tuesday, yesterday I hit the slopes with a couple of friends... I'm happy to report that the new iPhone held up as a GPS, ipod, and a phone for the entire day with no battery problems! I need to get some weights in, so I'll do some upper body today down in the dungeon. I'm already feeling abolutely fantastic and my energy level is climbing daily. I love being back on this program!
  12. if youtube will cash me in tomorrow, I'm there!!!
  13. lol Steve Not sure where I left off, but I'm in a rush right now... Gotta get out on the streets for a run before dinner is done. Ha! It rhymes.
  14. meho, you hit the nail on the head! Life isn't complete unless you have happiness in all areas, and a huge key to being happy is being healthy. If you're overweight, your body is carrying toxins that cause depression. If you don't get enough exercise, your body never gets to release those awesome endorphins that give you such a great feeling... Anyone who's every done even 3 weeks of "training" can attest to how good you feel after only a short time of exercising. Just... do it! I was supposed to do my upper body yesterday, but I was so tired from the day of skiing before I didn't have any energy. Once again, it's not the end of the world! I used my day of rest yesterday, and today I'm back on it. I need two more weight training days and another cardio day. I'm taking my daughter skiing tonight, tomorrow I'll hit the dumbells for my upper body workout, and Sunday I get to make up the final day of weights this week. Even though I took a rest day, I stuck to the diet.. so I get to go out for dinner tomorrow night with my lovely wife. And put all the mushrooms and onions and the works on the fattest porterhouse steak they have! I can't wait.
  15. I'm going through emails and I just ran across this gem. Based on whatever criteria you want, please vete to let him back in or not. "I was told I typed a joke that Iran invaded Iraq" :lmao:
  16. people are always making alegations, I'm not concerned. Most likely it's a crony of an ex mod or a competing website. They go on their own site and make up stuff... and then they send other people here to make stuff up. What a riot
  17. Someone please tell me why this person shouldn't show proof or be banned.
  18. In your post you said Ali called "Adam and all the rest liars"... So you took it upon yourself to elaborate? I don't think that's honorable at all. Thanks for posting on the forum, but... this forum gets over 1000 posts a day, and I don't read them all. Please PM me if you have something that needs my attention, or PM a mod and they will call me if it's an emergency.
  19. I'd like the opinion of the members here... did Ali call ME a liar in the email Wayne & Leah High posted?
  20. Whoa, whoa whoa.. what have I ever said about Ali? If you have an email stating that Ali called me a liar, you better post it right now. I'm sending you a PM to this effect, prepare to either take that statement back and apologize, back it up, or be banned.
  21. KILLED my lower body yesterday, and then the woman wants to get saucy with me this morning... my poor abs! Ah well, such is the life. Today is cardio AKA "complete and total body annihilation" on the slopes day, and then I'll get in here to do some Dinar News work - I've been so busy with work lately I simply haven't had time to spend on the forum, sorry guys! I'll catch up later today. Day 10, still going strong! (I have an inside joke to share tomorrow, about my Body For Life book... )
  22. I'm back! The best part of BFL in my opinion is that if you slip up, or miss a workout, it's not the end of the world. If you find yourself at dinner and there isn't anything healthy to eat at that restaurant, well... you make THAT your "free day". If you don't have time to do an Upper Body workout on Monday, but you have 20 minutes for a run - you switch days. And that's what I had to do on Week 1. I had a heck of a first week - had to rearrange twice! Day 5 was supposed to be Upper Body, I ran out of time and went for twenty minute run instead.. it fet GREAT! My first run of the new year, I can't wait to get back to running 3+ times a week again. I did get my upper body workout in on Day 6, so overall I met my obligations, just not in the order they were supposed to be done. Sunday I could have gorged on anything I wanted... I had an ice cream sandwich and stuck to my diet the rest of the day. I also skied for a couple of hours, but that's just extra credit. Week 2!!!! I'm hitting the slopes on Wednesday, and I want to count that for aerobics - so I'm switching this week slightly. I'm supposed to be on Lower Body, here's what I'll do: Cardio - I ran a couple miles yesterday, hit my first "runner's high" since October! Lower Body - I'm heading to the gym shortly, then back home to work on Dinar stuff. Cardio - skiing with some friends! Upper Body - downstairs in the dungeons. I'm cranking it up a notch if I'm not too sore from skiing. Cardio - weather permitting, I'll run. Otherwise I'll hit the pool on the way to see the accountant. Lower Body - Either Gym or in the dungeon with dumbells, depending on any errands I might need to run. You see how this all works? No matter how busy you are, you can make this work! I'm off to the gym.
  23. If you're finding my posts on other sites first, why are you going to the other sites first? You're obviously getting the information later than if you'd just came here.
  24. You have to understand that while we're waiting for the Dinar to revalue, the dealers are selling and stockpiling it... they are waiting for a reval as well, but they're making money on the dinar while they wait. When the Dinar dealing business is over, a lot of people are going to have a lot of money to spend on other things - this site will move more towards straight investment and financial discussion. There will be more people willing to advertise, that's not even a big deal. Thanks for the post
