In looking at the events that have unfolded over the last few weeks and months with all the hateful rhetoric that has spewed out of terrorist groups like ISIS as well as home grown terrorist groups like Black Lives Matters it is time to ask America and the world one very important question. That question is! Who’s army are you marching in? In the world today there are forces of evil that are marching to create a new world order that seeks to instill a reign of terror on the populace that is unprecedented. Groups of people who have seized on opportunities to exploit events that they think will propel them into power. I have stated many times that we all serve a master. There is the master and the creator of the universe and all creation, which is God. And there is there is the master of this world, which is Satan. The war that is taking place is for the souls of man. As I ask the question again think about it carefully. Who’s army are you marching in. As you ponder this think about what Jesus said when asked the question about what the greatest of commandments are. Matthew 22:36-40 (NKJV) 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” These verses tell us what kind of army Jesus has called us to march in. Are you marching in an army that is worshiping God with all your heart, soul, and mind. There are many religions in the world and many of them claim that this is what they are doing. But Jesus has told us that there is more. Is this army that you are marching in loving its neighbors as it loves itself? How about not just its neighbor but its fellow human being! In 1776 a group of men came together and wrote a document that is known as the Declaration of Independence. These men knew that they were putting their lives on the line with this document. But the bells of freedom where ringing and not just for some but for all men. Many of these men sacrificed more than their lives. Five signers were captured by the British and brutally tortured as traitors. Nine fought in the War for Independence and died from wounds or from hardships they suffered. Two lost their sons in the Continental Army. Another two had sons captured. At least a dozen of the fifty-six had their homes pillaged and burned. But they knew that freedom from tyranny was something that all men must have access to. As you read on I ask you again. Who’s army are you marching in. America has made mistakes is those growing pains but America has kept growing into one of the greatest nations ever formed. America has been a nation that has stood for freedom and one in which people from all around the world has sought to become part of. America has been a nation that has stood in the gap against the tyrants of this world. We as a nation are now at a crossroad. The tyrants have come to this nation with the desire to take those freedoms away. Men and women have died fighting to preserve the freedoms that the people of this great nation have come to expect. Many have also taken for granted that these freedoms will always be there. Evil has crept in and exploited some of America’s growing pains in an attempt to destroy this nation and enslave those who disagree with their actions. Freedom though is something that is never free. There is always a price that will be called for and paid for in order to maintain that freedom. That price must be paid because as long as history continues on its march there will be those who will seek the power to dominate others. They will seek to destroy those who would stand in the way of their quest for power and domination. Dictators, as Adolph Hitler did, will thirst for that power and will stop at nothing to gain it. These people have made their choice as to whom they are willing to serve and with who’s army they are marching with. Countless lives have been lost throughout history because of this thirst for power. Power does corrupt those who throw off any restraints that would otherwise hold them back from loving their neighbor as themselves. From the beginning of this nation many chose to be in an army that believed that not only them, but all had the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That not only them but all had the right to worship God and that all had the responsibility to stand up for those who could not stand. On August 28, 1963, nearly 200 years after the Declaration of Independence was signed Martin Luther King stood before a crowd in Washington and declared his dream to the American people. That dream of every child of every color and race being able to live together as neighbors and loving each other as Christ has commanded is still far from being realized. It is still something that Americans are still fighting and dying for. From the beaches of Normandy to the sands of Uyogema, American soldiers have died for the freedoms that we have and for the dreams of men like Martin Luther King. They have died and continue to sacrifice for a nation full of a people who all have dreams. But dreams full of untethered desires breeds corruption. A nation that is lead by those who have given themselves over to this corruption is always doomed to fail. Our Pledge of Allegiance has a phrase in it that states that we are one nation under God. By casting off that phrase America has become a divided nation. Those that seek to divide us also seek to separate us from God. There is only one way that America will heal and continue as a nation and that is to cast off those who are seeking to divide us from God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) 2:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. It is time to choose that army with which you will march with. It is time to pray that God will open our eyes so that we can see his army standing there on the mountain tops. 2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. There number is greater than those of the enemy. More powerful than any army that the enemy can bring against us. Gods spirit will always dwell with his people. It is through his spirit that we are enabled to do what is right in Gods eyes. We will never be justified by doing things our way. There is only one way that any of us can be holy. And that is to have Christ dwelling inside of us. If God does not see Christ inside of us then there is no way we are holy. And there is no way that the spirit of God can be with us. If that is the case then we are only doing what is right in our own eyes and not in Gods eyes.

It has every thing to do with America. You where created by God to be part of his kingdom just like the rest of us. Any nation that sins against God will be dealt with according to his will. I'm not going to argue with anyone who see's abortion as anything other than murder. People are free to believe what they want. That is what free will is all about. But Gods word says there are consequences for sin. God brought this nation together to stand as a beacon just like he did with Israel. He also put his word together for all people to read and use to make those choices that line up with his will. His word is intended for all people. It also says that the road is narrow. So he is fully aware that many will reject his word. We do not get to pick and chose which parts of his word we want to be obedient to. The Old Testament is just as important as the New Testament. Jesus stated that he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He also said that if anyone would cause one of his little ones to stumble in any way they would be dealt with.That also means that if we cause any harm to them we would suffer the consequences. Barring repentance, which is exactly what 2nd Chronicles 7:14 is talking about, then America will face judgement.

America is at a turning point with the upcoming elections. The murder of unborn children is just one thing that America will stand in judgement for. God is giving us every chance to repent. 2 Chronicles 7:14King James Version (KJV) 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. But notice the part that says "and turn from their wicked ways" It is amazing how many people in this world believe that God turns a blind eye to sin. Jesus suffered beyond measure and then died for all of ours sins. Rejecting what he did on the cross means that we will face that judgement ourselves. He knows who are his and he knows who the ones are that have rejected him.

The answer is that you are responsible and accountable for your actions and words. Just like me and the next guy and the next. The problem is that a large majority do not want to be responsible or accountable for anything that they say or do. People do not want to be preached to but there is more than a little leaven in this lump of humanity. People with their own agenda and dreams of power. I once told a group of workers that where going through a leadership class with me that if they would just give everyone a copy of the Book of Proverbs and made sure that everyone read it and adhered to its teachings we would not need to go through the class. What do you think the response was? Yea, exactly. God created us with a free will. But free will is what has caused much of the problem. Every one thinks that they are more important than the next guy. Until that thinking changes or until the Lord comes back this world is at the mercy of corrupt individuals who are more than willing to exploit others. Jesus simplified the commandments for this very same reason. Matthew 22:37-40 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” If we are to selfish to understand this them heaven help us.

I was born in Alabama and some of my family are still part of the Good ol Boy Southern Democratic Party. They are as bigoted as they come. We moved from there when I was 6 years old. Just cannot understand the mind set of anyone who is that way. What a choice we have. A Good ol Girl Southern Democrat who is as corrupt as they come or an arrogant New Yorker who is not a politician but has ties to corruption. The question is. Who is the most dangerous? I believe that to be Hillarious. Her and Bill are nothing short of the modern day Ahab and Jezebel. But if God chooses her to deal with America then be prepared for hell on earth. This may very well be the ushering in of the last days.
