latest news I got today from Mr I is that the Warka and other private banks in Iraq only have corresponding banks in the middle east, ie Jordan, UAE, Lebanon, Turkey, and they will not make 3rd party payments. The CBI is aware of this problem and everyone is working to resolve it. So no wire transfers available,,,

hi jb, yeah I got the Karmal KYC form thanks. I thought the form was mainly to get an ISX account. Mr I emailed an english version would be sent to me. Will post again if anything more happens.

has anyone ever been asked by Warka Bank to fill out a Know Your Client form (KYC)? I was today and the form Warka sent is in Arabic. Does anyone have an english version? This was in response to my email asking about their services for cash account clients, wire transfers cd's etc

yep to Mr I direct as usual. The emails are read but no answer though I did finally get a response today to an email sent 4 March 2018 asking me to fill out a Know Your Client Form (NYC) and another form to update my personal information. The KYC form was in Arabic. Anyone have one from Warka in english? Warka is closed until Sunday. There was no info pertaining to my questions about services though. See if I get the english form on sunday and what happens after they are sent back to warka.

can you tell us what the question and answer were? was it just a password renewal? my emails regarding anything other than a password renewal never get a response now, ie when cd's or wire transfers will be available again

how time flies,,,6 years ago the CBI put Warka Bank under Guardianship. Then CBI lifted Guardianship 4 years ago yet after 4 years I see no visible progress in getting our money back. Anyone ever hear of a comeback after 6 years being closed?

Since Warka had all services approved by the CBI in 2015 I have not had them answer a question about services even when included in the paasword renewal email, nor respond to an email specifically about services I had requested. Nor any information from the CBI - banking.supervision@cbi.iq whom the CBI media office directed me to send email regarding Warka Bank to

I've only ever had to renew mine 1x per year. But since the cbi and warka announced approval of full services in 2015 I've logged in evey couple months to see if my requests have been done.

check in the ISX thread. People are talking about having moved from Warka to Al Karmal. I believe the al karmal contact email is there as well.

It is definitely GREAT news for people with stocks held by Warka Brokerage! Now if we could get great news about our cash accounts I'd imagine Warka would need to limit withdrawals when we get access to our cash again to prevent just what you're saying about people cashing out all at once...

Sorry I took too long and couldn't add these steps... In Firefox you can add the website url as an exception in the Certificate Manager. Go to Tools-Options-Privacy & Security. Scroll down to Certificates and click "View Certificates", click on the Servers tab then "add exception" and insert the url *.warka-bank-iq.com or onlinebanking.warka-bank-iq.com Hope this helps
