I have watched and read all the posts that can drive one nuts. However I wonder how a country that is not a soverign nation with an untradeable currency can expect to purchase goods and services with a toilet paper currency? The iraqi people are suffering from a monetary system that is worthless, a government that can't stand up to their convictions and yet want to be s supreme power? Why can't a government that takes almost 10 months to form expect to build an intrastructure and gain the respect of outside investors if they can't decide and implement what is good for their citizens? The CBI continues to auction off Dinars yet they want to reduce the amount of Dinars in circulation. Any logic to this other than to increase their reserves? Very well said, no bashing. However there still is a government that is arguing with people that want what is best for their province. There exist a power struggle among them and it seems that noone is really concerned for the people, only for their own well being. Iraq has tremendous natural resources and if only the power monguls could see how their country will prosper and give up on their own self prosperity, then and only then will we see a new government formed. As for an RV they can do it now. Look at GE who has invested billions of dollars in electricity and generators. Do you think that they will be happy getting pennies on the the dollar for their return on investment. With an RV now the people of Iraq can see a new life and a wealthier future. New money will come into the country. Companies won't think twice about their investments and Iraq will prosper. Deleting the zeroes will make their new money worth less to their citizens. However for the outside Iraq investors are we to assume our cash in is going to be based on values without the three zeros? Will a 25,000 dinar be valued as a 25 dinar new note? Great News, BUT an employee is earning 940,000 dinars now. Drop the three zero's and he/she is earning 940 dinars. Now let's say an rv of 2.50 times 940=2350 dinars. If I am correct, that if you drop 2 zeroes off a $25,000 dinar not it is now $250.00. If they RV the note to $1.00 that note is now $250.00 a far cry from $25,000 at $1.00 par. Correct me if I am wrong Keylargo
