  1. actually he DID have WMD's, he agreed to destroy and account for them all, and never did. just to be clear on the actual history. his agreement after the first gulf war was very clear on this, and he never accounted for the destruction of tons of stuff. technically, is it still unaccounted for.
  2. the problem in my opinion is that some people (and I know one personally) are so invested in the potential of becoming phenomenally rich overnight that they cannot stand to hear any rational opinions that point to a less grand outcome with their dinar investment... I want to be a gazillionaire overnight, and bought into the dinars because of that allure, but nothing I am reading on these forums gives me a lot of hope that it is going to happen this way... And I really hope I am wrong! I am not a lopster, I don't hope I am right, and the conclusion I am currently at (which is open to change at any time) is that I have a gazillion dinars that will eventually be a profitable investment for me, and that it is going to take time... I believe the dinar has increased in value 30% or thereabouts over the last 4 years, yes?
  3. I dunno about that fellow, but: I have been lurking here a long time, and on a day with absolutely nothing on my agenda decided to join and comment... I think the facts and opinions presented here lean away from what we all hope will happen, personally, and I am sad to say so... I think the dinar will appreciate in value over the long haul, and I am glad I invested only what I could afford to risk... I think it will eventually prove to have been a sound investment, but I am VERY sorry to say that I have very little hope of becoming a multimillionaire overnight. If that happens I will be delighted to be wrong! cheers everyone, happy long weekend! thanks you guys, for serving our country, sincerely!!!! come home safe!
  4. I think you are correct, friend, unfortunately. I think the dinar is a long term investment that can provide a good return in time... I wish wish wish it were otherwise, and hope hope hope I am wrong!
  5. date on the article you linked is 03/09/2011, or am I missing something? doh, sept 3rd, got it... hahaha. good news!
  6. CERN — the organization that invented the World Wide Web.... but but but... I thought Al Gore invented the internet!!!
  7. I HAVE been lurking here for quite some time.... How about a simple answer, from your perspective, I would appreciate that a lot more, thanks! if the three zeros are removed, making 1000 dinars worth 1 dinar, this just means to me my notes are worth 25 dinar, but will there be a requirement to change the bills, and a time limit by when they will be tradeable?
  8. """What you are all excited about comes after the fact, after the zeros are removed, the result will be an increase in value and a restructuring of the currency denominations.""" help me out here, I will be the first to admit I am baffled by all this... if they remove the zeros, what becomes of all the pretty 25,000 dinar notes I have stashed away? is there a window to trade them in for other bills, or what?
  9. I hope your WF source is real, and right! but, how many times have people said something like this while I have been invested? my guess, around 100 or so now... so, I remain skeptical, simply because I do not want to raise my hopes and be disappointed... I make a good living and am just gonna keep grinding it out... assuming the dinar will NEVER RV, and instead will appreciate like any other investment... and I would LOVE to be wrong about that, but so far everything I have taken in points that way.
  10. the problem with all the "intel", is that it is not. these so called gurus have been 100% wrong, 100% of the time. I have a bunch of dinar, and I would love to see an RV, but after spending time lurking on this site, my opinion is I have a bunch of pretty money that may increase in value over time, like a regular old investment... I am disappointed, and I have to let go of the fantasy of overnight millions, but I am pragmatic and realistic... I am glad I am not one of the people who has been wasting my money buying 30 day contracts based on the promises made by gurus that the rv is just about to happen... I feel sorry for people who have wasted money they probably should have spent on food and rent... this is what I think this whole pumper thing is about, getting these deposits... and I think is is pretty cold hearted.
