  1. Soooo what's the big deal? Not a very difficult email to understand, I don't get how you'd read that as an imminent rate change. It very clearly states that they'll inform you if the rate changes. And then they provided the current rate of 1170. Where does it say the rate is about to change any second, or even allude to anything along those lines?
  2. Penguin wednesday pajamas carburetor.
  3. What are some things to watch for that may indicate an RV would NOT happen?
  4. My understanding is that the current 1170:1 exchange rate was an arbitrary number, manually put in place. My question is (other than confirming the truth to that), why does the current exchange rate have virtually no fluctuation in the daily market, compared to almost all other currencies? What is keeping that 1170 from fluctuating to 1165 or 1175, etc?
  5. Just a real life story folks. If you want a promise of a rate and date go read some pumper fantasies.
  6. Just throwing this out there real quick. I don't have 1,500 posts to back up my credibility or whatever, but here's what happened anyway. A friend of mine flew into town last week. I met him a couple years ago before he joined the army, and since then he's been to Iraq once or twice. He has no idea I'm invested in the Dinar, and I'd planned on bringing it up later in the night, but he brought it up first, after a few beers. My eyes definitely lit up when he brought up the Dinar. He said he's invested in it, and he views it as more of a long term investment rather than a get rich quick scenario. That's it. This guy is no financial genius, I just thought it was cool that he went there, heard of the investment and got onboard, with somewhat first hand knowledge of Iraq (more than me anyway). A little encouraging, a little not, that's it.
  7. Thanks. Just thought it was worth posting. Seems like a glitch in the app. I don't check any other currencies, so I couldn't tell you if it happened with just the IQD or all currencies.
  8. Yes, first post, I'm not a pumper, yada yada yada. I checked my yahoo finance app on my iphone this morning and all was normal, with the normal rate. Checked just now and it's displaying IQD = X with no rates shown. I'll attach a screen shot. Anybody with an iphone seeing the same thing? Back to normal now. Weird.
