  1. Laid Back,Thanks for your astute observation and comments throughout this post. It would appear that the possibility and probability of your words are even stronger when you combine all of the recent publicly disclosed contracts and oil shipments with the post from this morning (in one of Yota's other awesome articles as of late) that refers to Abadi's comments about the formal end of fighting in Mosul by the end of April. I suspect that there are other forms of behind the scenes progress that will very very soon be public knowledge. GO RV!!!
  2. Thanks again Yota, for the non-stop and continuous effort in keeping us up to date and informed about the work and progress made in this portion of Iraq. And thank you, mylilpony, for your summary and interpretation of the aforementioned. Your explanation and emphasis about the importance about the laws mentioned above helps me sleep easier as I now have a far superior understanding of the laws themselves as well as their importance. Hopefully the passing of the laws continues to flow at a pace that's as fast as the oil which is on its was to Russia and Turkey, and that the end result culminates with the liberation of Mosul, an end of suffering to those in Iraq, and the release of any residual Chapter VII sanctions and ultimate passage of HCL, which all equates to an increase in the value of the IQD to an amount that's consistent a with its true value and worth.
  3. Good afternoon Yota and DV. Thank you for this uplifting post- which is quite revealing when combined other recent developments regarding the release of the IQD from its artificially low program rate. I like the fact that you posted the following article within an hour or two of the one in this thread: http://www.alliraqnews.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=60840 ...and when you combine the other news a couple weeks ago about new and extended pipelines that are soon and/or already delivering oil to Turkey and Russia, it certainly does appear that Iraq knows how it plans to divide its revenue - which is increasing more and more with every passing day, not just from the gross proceeds received as income, but also from the interest that's compounding from that revenue (not to mention the fact that more and more money is going where it's supposed to due to the fdecrease in corruption.) If that's not enough to develop or maintain a sense of optimism, then throw in the recent post regarding Abadi's comments pertaining to the release from the residual Chapter VII UN sanctions. These articles coincide nicely with the liberation of Mosul, which must be near, according to another article posted earlier today, and they also coincide nicely with the international support in the form of loans from Japan and other nations that have enough confidence in Iraq to grant loans in amounts exceeding $6Bb. Go RV!!!
  4. 10 YEARS LATER - thank you for the follow-up by acknowledging my comment. I sincerely appreciate the hat-tip very much. I learned about this "exotic currency" about 7 years after you got involved with it, and I can't imagine doubling the frustration I occasionally feel about it if I tried. Despite the duration, I think - and truly believe - that this phase of the currency speculation will be through by the end of May. I've had that sense for 17 of the past 18 months, and came to the deduction and conclusion from a product of energy testing and 'male intuition.' GoRV!!!
  5. 10 YEARS AFTER - I appreciate your comment above, and enjoy reading your posts. I understand and appreciate your perception and perspective as there have been many times that I've been optimistic with the promise of change by those in power in Iraq, only to find that days and weeks etc. go by with no follow through. One thing is for sure - we will soon find out if the words expressed by Al-Sadr have any weight to them, or if they are just filled with air. Regardless of whether or not he follows through in regards to this statement, other progress in areas that point to an RV is still being made. Despite my own personal hope, want, need and desire for an RV, when I objectively analyze the facts and progress over the past 6-8 weeks, it does appear to show progress toward a rate change and/or removal of the UN program rate and sanctoons.
  6. Good afternoon Yota and DV- and Happy Easter to all that celebrate (and all that don't) the life of Christ, our Lord and Saviour, and Ascended Master. From the look in Muqdata al - Sadr's eyes, along with his facial expression (assuming that the picture above is a depiction of his thoughts in regardst to this post and topic), it appears that he has had about with enough with the corruption and lack of progress in Iraq as I have, and much much more for obvious reasons. It's pleasing to see that him using his authority to better the lives of the people he loves and cares about as he he istands up to the overwhelming number of corrupt officials surrounding him. The timing of this post couldn't be better and I hope it is a sign of imminent and positive change for Iraq which culminates in the change in status and value for the IQD. Go RV!!!
  7. Thanks for taking the time to locate and pot this article DWS112 - I appreciate it very much. Donziman, to some extent I understand and appreciate your perception. However, the timing of this article coincides with massive amounts of great news from various sectors in the private and public stem this past week or two, and from my perspective it appears that the person making this statement - regardless of the overall weight in his words - is 'on board and in agreement" with those of his predecessors and colleagues from around the globe. Go RV!!!
  8. ChuckFinley, I've enjoyed reading many of your comments regarding your observations of the IQD status in addition to other secondary topics. I see that your ability to interpret the manner in which those in Iraq communicate is superior to mine. Specifically, when I read this post, I initially got the impression that the size that the Dasholes now have must be different (hopefully less than) from the 6.8 percent referenced in the title of this article. i must say, the term 'smoke and mirrors' doesn't begin to reflect the confusing manner in which many in Iraq write and speak.
  9. Good morning again Yota, and DV, and thank you for this article as well. From my take, after getting through the 'mumbo jumbo', this article states that Iraq is getting ready to eliminate the multi-currency practice, which is fine with me as I believe it's another indicator of an RV. I state the latter comment based on the necessity of Iraq to increase its gross domestic product (GDP) while rebuilding its infrastructure, and I also state that comment based on the timing of so many other recent and simultaneous events taking place over the past several weeks up to this very moment.
  10. Good morning Yota and DV. I had a sense there was more than one reason I had trouble sleeping, and I intuitively suspect it's connected to the words in this article..."participation in the sale and purchase of foreign currency..,' If that doesn't say 'International' then I don't know what does; they are getting ready for something that is about to happen for the very first time in Iraq and I am more than eager to see them start that process! Go RV!!!
  11. tigergorzow- thank you very much for acknowledging my comments. I truly hope you are correct; I personally am in a state that oscillates between objectivity and a strong desire of varying amounts due to 'personal necessity' I very much look forward to the day 'soon' that awaits all of us patient investors who took interaest in this 'exotic currency' at some point between today and 14 years ago (God bless those in the latter group and everyone else for that matter) when the real and true value of the IQD is exposed, established and recognized - internationally. I know the lives of all of us involved as primary investors are going to experience positive rewards, which willl have secondary and tertiary impacts on those near and dear to us - as well as the rest of the world - in one way or another. Go RV!!!
  12. Thanks DWS112, I appreciate your effort for taking the time to locate this article, and all of the other posts you've made to this site. I enjoy them very much. This one however, coincides in many other simultaneous events made public the past week, including the recovery of $70+Bb of stolen funds, the new pipeline and the oil presently enroute to Russia, the nearly complete elimination of the dasholes, the observation of MasterCard and Bloomberg showing IQD rates and references, and the visit from the U.S. Congress group. I am certain there are many other recent and/or current non-disclosed events ontributing towards the inertia behind the revaluation that we all eagerly await. I am curious about the status of the $550Bb found in US banks in the name of Iraqi officials that was recently frozen by Trump. It appears that a lot of high level Iraqi Governmnt Officials (400+1 really big one) have gotten used to living a certain life-style through corruption and theft, and that poor behavior is finally being heavily suppressed, which the latter group is now forced to cooperate and make their living through legitimate means if they want to maintain that lifestyle. GO RV!!!
  13. Thanks for this late night post. There certainly seems to be a lot of simultaneous progress and activity between this thread, the recovery of $70+Bb of stolen funds, the new pipeline and the oil presently enroute to Russia, the nearly complete elimination of the dasholes, the observation of MasterCard and Bloomberg showing IQD rates and references (which we hope will go up asap), the visit from the U.S. Congress group, and the meetings referenced above. One thing is certain, a lot of high level people in Iraq got used to living a certain life-style through corruption and theft, and that is being heavily suppressed, which means they will have to cooperate and get along and play nice if they want to maintain that lifestyle through legitimate means. GO RV and do it now!!!
  14. There have been a few dots on the line regarding tourism that I've seen, and it's apparent this article is consistent with the post-Isis re-vitalization of Iraq - which wlli be made much easier with foreign investors and foreign dollars. I for one was in college when Saddam invaded Kuwait and when we struck back swift and hard with the aid of Gen .Norman Schwartzkoff. I believe there were about 120+ fatalities during operation Dessert Storm, and the only reason I recall that number is because one of the ones who didn't make it back was the brother of a class-mate of mine. This is truly just the start of a post-dictator period for Iraq, as we had to deal with the faux dictator following Saddam, with the obvious time delays. That being said, if the country of Iraq expects to have tourists, it will certainly be easier for 'everyone in accounting' to convert the currencies of each foreigner's tender with a rate that is easy to deal with. Not every country uses the dollar as a primary means of exchange and I suspect the tourism sector is going to flourish quite strongly as this is truly the first time in our lifetime that people can and will consider (post Saddam, Udai and Qusai) traveling to see Babylon. I know Iraq was never a thought of a place to visit while growing up, but I suspect a lot of people will go, just as others visit Egypt to see the pyramids, once things settle down a tad more. Go RV!!!
  15. This is a great post - it's quite timely and I suspect that many similar articles are going to follow shortly. By the way, any status updates on the $550Bb Trump supposedly froze a few weeks ago?
  16. Now, what would make this group from Congress have to go to Iraq, in person, really. The references made in the released article are redundant and obvious, and it's my understanding that Trump wasn't to minimize unnecessary expenses (a subtle subconscious jab at the former First Lady's trip to Africa - with her entourage of 50 friends and relatives; sorry.).
  17. This is an interesting post, which from my perception started off as if it was written from the past-tense, and as if someone were explaining the reasons for their actions-which was an increase in the IQD. I hope to see the rest of the statements referenced in the article culminate in just that as the timing of this piece coincides nicely with other recent comments from public Iraqi officials, and my own personal need and desire for an increase in the of the artificially suppressed IQD value. Go RV!!!
  18. Good morning Yota and DV. Thanks for posting this article - which is quite revealing in some ways. I like the petro-dollar reference combined with the words of love for all Iraqi's. In some ways, that translates to a functional HCL, which I suspect is the subject of behind the scenes chatter. All I can add to that is a quote from the late Rodney Dangerfield, who said in the movie Caddyshack:. "Let'Go! While We're Young!" Let's go Iraq (and all other contributing forces from the IMF, Wb, UN, etc.) - and RV the long overdue change in.value of the artificially depreciated IQD currency - "While We're Young!!" GoRV!!!
  19. Yes. - definitely still waking up, as it's the 3rd picture and not the second I was referring to. and counting to 4 is something I am usually good at. Go RV!!!
  20. I must still be waking up and in need of clearing my head.... I think I am seeing triple in that second pic - which isn't a bad thing at all...one day shortly I plan to SUDDENLY have the financial resources to attend Oktoberfest - in person - along with a few other places 'of interest'. GO RV!!!
  21. Yota, Thank you for posting this-and for all the other articles that you've posted over the years. It seems at this point in time that there is nothing too small of importance that can be interpreted as a good sign of what is yet to come. It'scerrainly nice to see Iraq and Kuwait getting along so well, which is very encouraging as to the current status of this 'exotic currency' - investment wise. Just in case I don't get the opportunity to travel on short notice (for OSI or other reasons for the next few weeks) I don't want to miss out on the opportunity to express my gratitude to you and the other Mods who have seamlessly kept the rest of us 'in the know.' for as long and consistently as you have. So just in case this thing hits between now and the end of May, this DV thanks you very much for all of your hard work.
  22. Thanks DoD - I wasn't aware of the differences between the Chapter VII UN constraints when compared to those of the World Bank and the IMF. If all goes well, I will correctly understand how this process is supposed to work and function before a change in rate - but if the latter occurs first, I won't be upset. Go RV!!!
  23. Good morning Yota and DV. Thank you taking the time to locate and re-post the 2013 article regarding the release from chapter VII, Yota. And thank you MyLilPony for your detailed synopsis of the facts that have to be followed and as they correlate to the events taking place over the past few weeks through the present day. There certainly are many interesting articles posted just this morning, and I expect that there will be many more in the next several days, and perhaps one or more will contain information that bridges the deficit of information regarding the status of chapter VII when comparing 2013 to 2017. Go RV!!!
  24. Synopsis, (and everyone else who posted in response) I appreciate the manner in which you inquire about the 2-month period, and think your analogy regarding the 'barn doors' expresses and summarizes the scenario quite well. I for one do not see Iraq being in a position that would intentionally bring in large group of investors whilst the country is still in the process of formerly going international. I believe we will see the 2-month reference, for one of the very rare times, is met early, and that we see an RV, HCL, 'formal' exit from chapter VII in a near-simultaneous manner, much sooner than 60 days from now. I personally like to think, and hope, that the two-month reference Abadi speaks of is achieved within the next two days or two weeks, and that his words in retrospect are actually a subtle 'tip off' to those in his own 'personal' audience. Despite learning what I could from the many news articles over the years, I never anticipated an HCL Act vs. fully functioning law, nor did I realize till relatively recently that Iraq was not completely out of Chapter VII. If Iraq is ever going to meet its goal early, and surprise the world. now is the time. Go RV!!!
  25. Half Crazy Ruuner - You are very welcome. I stated the comment about the manner in which bone heals and regenerates from personal, academic and professional experience. I made a career change (attempt) years ago from mutual fund accounting and completing the CPA exam to pursuing a degree in physical therapy. I wasn't able to complete the PT academic pursuit in its entirety, but I came across a variety of energy medicine techniques and combined them with a form of EEG Biofeedback (neurofeedback) to satisfy my personal and professional needs and desires. Things got 'off-track' when a surgeon re-attached a ligament in my shoulder in the wrong spot and surgically created an environment in which my shoulder was designed to dislocate. I had 120 consecutive monthly trips to Mass General, and another 7 surgeries on top of the first 5 to 'correct' the matter. There's a huge difference between soft-tissue injuries and bone brakes, If there's any hesitation in your body's healing, then look into a bone regenerator/stimulator - which is a portable product that can be used to stimulate osteocytes (bone cells) to regenerate. I am sure your overall healthy lifestyle will make the latter apparatus unnecessary and that you will be fine. In the meantime, let's go Iraq! The world is watching and waiting - Master Yota's roller coaster avatar should be coming to an end soon, so let's get off this crazy ride by showing the world you can move beyond corruption (at least minimize it) and work together as a country and stop the bickering! It might sound 'crazy' Iraq, but you will actually be much much wealthier - and hopefully happy - if you start to implement overdue projects by using the proceeds to re-build your nation correctly, and actually develop a society that functions and operates more from hard work and effort when compared to theft. 'Just my 2- cents', which is based on the "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish, feed him for life" philosophy.
