  1. Cooked, if your lifestyle depends on it then I have sympathy, otherwise just breathe, it'll happen, truly.
  2. I think they can, but not at the value gurus have been spouting for the last ten years. I am with Adam on the 10 cent deal.
  3. I think it's time the USA deletes some zeros. Well I hope your niece has accurate premonitions.
  4. I remember this article as well. Yes it is old but it is another speculative article, because this is another way the shoe can drop, issue a 100 and lower denominations? This article made me think that there were other currency notes which have never been issued sitting in a vault somewhere waiting....like us just waiting to be distributed.
  5. I believe this is an old article that has been recycled. I distinctly remember this talk about Sweden and because of this article I did a fair amount of research of the monetary policies and currency of Sweden, which by the way is quite interesting. Seems to be a rash of articles that are just spewing the same ole, same ole contradictory information. This is by design folks, by design. Hope you all had a great 4th of July....
  6. LOL I was thinking what you said but I won't take responsibility for putting those thoughts in writing, I'm letting you get the hits. I have to agree. I saw this posted a few days back, the article wasn't quite so clear, but my immediate reaction was what you suggested in your post. I am trying to keep my excitement under wrap, because the realist in me sees these numbers and makes me a bit nervous.
  7. Sounds like there may be a line forming to claim lawsuits against Iraq one these funds are released.
  8. Yes I believe your calculation is correct, I didn't want to put the rate .025 in my post - however, remember this is the current rate - so let's move on to the next level of the monetary game - so let's say sanctions are lifted and the CBI can now trade their currency internationally, it could be at this point that the currency may begin to rise in value and what I am most interested is the foreign exchange rate. Still at this point I am going to wait and see what is next... and yes I have seen those numbers posted by other members in the past, all taken with a grain of salt.
  9. Well I am liking what you are thinking, not so much what I was thinking. My mind said.... 33 trillion is the currency in circulation (remove the three zeros) and now we have 33 billion x 2.5 = is 82.5 billion (Please no negs!) I really suck at math and I like the above post better than mine. I am reading they are covered two and 1/2 times - "pointing out that in the case attain the size of the reserve to more than 80 billion dollars, it means that every dinar both inside or outside the country covered by (2.5)
  10. Probably, Montgomery. But ya know there is no direct flight from here to there.
  11. Here is another interesting article regarding the GCC Qatar hints at upcoming Gulf currency shifts Khalid al-Khater, director of research and monetary policy at the Qatari central bank, cited the threat of inflation when he said in a speech last month that Qatar and other Gulf states should consider moving to more flexible exchange rates. “We in the GCC need more than an outdated four-decade-old, simple uni-instrument, uni-tool macroeconomic policy framework,” he said, stressing that his remarks did not reflect the central bank’s official view. “This framework was suitable for the earlier stages of development. However, the world has changed.” Read more: http://www.dailystar.com.lb/Business/Middle-East/2013/Jun-13/220177-qatar-hints-at-upcoming-gulf-currency-shifts.ashx#ixzz2WFI2p82J (The Daily Star :: Lebanon News :: http://www.dailystar.com.lb)
  12. Yes Bama girl eXciting alright! - I have been trolling, but not posting - still here. PS - I have been traveling to Mississippi for work and soon to Alabama - I was thinking about you.
  13. Hey folks - just stopping by for a quick read and happy to see this article and discussion, renewed hope. Even more excited to see familiar peeps commenting.
  14. Interesting topic ~ I have been researching the evidence of ETs now for a few months - And what I find most interesting is the skulls found in South America called the "Elongated Skulls". Most have been found in Peru and Bolivia and are thought to be alien hybrids. Brian Forester has a youtube channel he dedicates to posting his findings. He hosts research trips to the sites where he and his team has discovered these skulls. It appears most recently he has had DNA testing done and it has been discovered that these beings share some of the DNA of human, but not all of the DNA is known. The skulls have only three plates - unlike the human which has four. I find this interesting, and the more I learn, the more I want to learn. Ancient civilizations were far more modern that we have been led to believe. If you are looking to spend some time learning something new to share at a dinner party or BBQ this site is rich with facts, photographs and videos. And if the RV happens and anyone is looking to take a trip to SA to explore this part of the world I would love a travel buddy. This tiny skeleton has a similar skull.
  15. The best part of this article is it validated we are not crazy. I read this earlier today and although I was P.O.ed that these bankers are getting away with this, I felt finally...main stream media is making a splash and getting the facts out there.
  16. Two Kazakh men, Cambridge man, face charges in disposal of backpack owned by Boston Marathon bombing suspect 05/01/2013 6:27 PM The fireworks in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s backpack had been emptied of gunpowder, according to federal agents. By John R. Ellement, Todd Wallack, Maria Sacchetti, Matt Carroll and Martin Finucane, Globe Staff Two men from Kazakhstan and a man from Cambridge were arrested and charged today in the Boston Marathon bombings investigation, federal prosecutors said. Azamat Tazhayakov, Dias Kadyrbaev, and Tsarnaev (Image taken from Dias Kadyrbayev's webpage) Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev, both 19 and of New Bedford, were charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice by plotting to dispose of a laptop computer and a backpack containing fireworks belonging to bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the US attorney’s office said in a statement. Robel Phillipos, 19, of Cambridge was charged with making false statements to law enforcement officials in a terrorism investigation, prosecutors said. All three were, or had been, students at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where Tsarnaev, 19, was also a student. Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev face maximum sentences of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Phillipos faces a maximum sentence of eight years and a $250,000 fine, prosecutors said. At a brief initial appearance this afternoon in US District Court in Boston, Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev waived their right to a bail hearing. They will appear in court again May 14. In a separate appearance, Phillipos also waived his right to a bail hearing. Another hearing was slated in his case for Monday. Phillipos’s defense attorney, Derege Demissie, said after the hearing that Phillipos had nothing to do with the actions of Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev and was simply charged with making a “misrepresentation” to authorities. Tazhayakov “feels horrible and was shocked to hear that someone he knew” was involved with the bombings, said his defense attorney, Harlan Protass. “He looks forward to the truth coming out in this case.” Kadyrbayev “absolutely denies the charges,” said his defense attorney, Robert G. Stahl. Tazhayakov, Kadyrbayev, and Phillipos all began attending UMass Dartmouth together at the same time in 2011. They were all friends with Tsarnaev, authorities said. The trio told investigators that Kadyrbaev removed Tsarnaev’s backpack, which contained fireworks that had been opened and emptied of gunpowder, from Tsarnaev’s dorm room on the evening of April 18, shortly after the FBI released photos of the two bombing suspects (which the FBI later identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan), according to an affidavit by Special Agent Scott Cieplik attached to the complaint. Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov both admitted they agreed to throw away the backpack after concluding from news reports that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev must be one of the bombers. Kadyrbayev decided to remove the backpack from Tsarnaev’s room “to help his friend Tsarnaev avoid trouble,” the affidavit said. Kadyrbayev allegedly later threw the backpack in a dumpster at the New Bedford apartment complex where Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov lived. The backpack was taken away by a garbage truck, but was recovered last week inside a black garbage bag by the FBI at a New Bedford landfill, the affidavit said. The affidavit also alleged that Phillipos changed his story, saying at first that he had never gone to Tsarnaev’s dorm room but in a fourth interview admitting that he had joined the two others and gone to the room and taken the backpack. He said he had discussed with the two others what to do with the backpack but had fallen asleep and, upon awakening, discovered the backpack was gone. The backpack, when it was found, contained the fireworks, a jar of vaseline, a UMass Darmouth homework assignment sheet from one of Tsarnaev’s classes, and other items, the affidavit said. Kadyrbayev told investigators he decided to take Tsarnaev’s laptop as well because he did not want Tsarnaev’s roommate, who was there when the trio stopped by, to think Kadyrbayev was stealing or behaving suspiciously by just taking the backpack, the affidavit said. It wasn’t immediately clear from the affidavit what happened to the laptop computer. The FBI searched Tsarnaev’s dorm room several days later. It has disclosed in court documents that agents found BBs, a large pyrotechnic, and a black jacket and white hat matching those worn by the bombing suspect in surveillance footage who was later identified as Tsarnaev. Kadyrbayev first met Tsarnaev after starting college in fall 2011 and became closer friends with him in the spring 2012, often socializing with him and even meeting with Tsarnaev’s family at Tsarnaev’s home. Tazhayakov also became friends with Tsarnaev at UMass Dartmouth in fall 2011, the affidavit said. The affidavit also said Phillipos was friends with Tsarnaev.
  17. Heard the news of the three arrested on local news. It was three young men who were friends with the youngest brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev at UMass Dartmouth . What I heard was they were arrested for lying. It appears they (three friends) suspected he was involved after seeing photos posted on television so they threw his computer and some fireworks that were in his backpack in a dumpster. The authorities have been combing the landfill and found the knapsack with the computer and fireworks. It appears from the news report these young men were not aware of his plans, however felt the need to cover for him.
  18. I am meeting with my friends who live in that Watertown neighborhood next weekend. They took a lot of footage and have many photos, should be interesting.
  19. Please don't even get me started. Riddle me this - how is it these young terrorist men shoot off 200 rounds in the street and only they are injured?
