  1. My cousin's order "went" through (or so they thought) this early afternoon, after 1pm est - he got a call around 4pm est from the bank and they said the wire was blocked...just thought I'd share!
  2. I apologize if the post is identical. However, it appears to be new and states that parlament denied the CBI. Now i was not sure what the article meant and thought i would share to get the community's input. Thanks
  3. Baghdad, 13 April – The adviser to the CBI on Wednesday, the House of Representatives is the owner of the latest decision to raise zeros from the local currency or not. He said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency that “the Central Bank of Iraq has to submit a law regulating the process of lifting and sends it to the Council of the Prime Minister and then to the House of Representatives to decide then, if that revolver there is a need to raise three zeroes from the local currency or not.” He added that “the central bank works to write a law regulating mechanism for lifting the three zeros and the valuation of local currency in circulation external economic and internal.” The Ministry of Finance of Iraq last February that the deletion of zeros from the local currency will liberate the Iraqi economy from the constraints and enhance the value of the Iraqi dinar in the International Monetary Fund. And Saleh said that “the central bank deal with this issue cautiously and carefully because it may cause economic problems in the event of Altchera or do anything else confuses economic situation in Iraq.” In the view of the central bank to raise the three zeroes from the local currency is a complex process and need to be thorough economic study. He expressed the International Monetary Fund in August last support of the Iraqi economy in the event of having a number of economic measures, including privatization of banks and raise three zeroes from the local currency and to meet debt and compensation is the responsibility of Iraq. The Iraqi government has denied conducting any change in the local currency this year in order to reduce inflation. The news had recently indicated that the Iraqi government plans to make changes to the local currency, including raising three zeros in order to reduce inflation suffered by the Iraqi market, as well as add the language Kurdish paper currency. The local Iraqi currency has gone through several changes in its history, most recently in 2004 when the former Governing Council replaced the previous currency, which was a symbol of the former regime. 4. Agreed! And I hate to say it but these forums have gotten rather messy - many people come on here and there are really 3 types of users - 1) Pumpers, 2) Bashers, 3) People looking for Quality Source in their Investment....for the pumpers and bashers, I would like to know what qualifications you have to give "your advice" - I do apologize, but having a status as "Advanced Member" because you have posted xyz number of posts, really means nothing - I am here for quality information and don't pretend or try to act like I am an expert in any of this - sure I can read articles too and give my explanation of that, but it doesn't mean I actually know what I am talking about. I read posts like from Keep, and others and I just wonder what validity they have - do they have any actual education in any of this - or are they like the rest of us with a status on the site.... At the end of the day, if I am going to trust someone (that is not an expert, by realistic standards)....it's going to be the person that is positive. Sorry but your negative think is just ridiculous. I will also mention one last thing - I love reading posts from these so call experts on here - especially when MOST of them have spelling errors...come on people if you are an expert - or at least have some form of education in this, at least learn proper grammar - BTW the text editor on this forum is smart and when a word gets underlined in red, it probably means you should right click on it and check for proper spelling. It's just like MS Word. Now let the basher's come and strike this post down and let's see how many people give me a negative. Just like you, I am just giving you the truth
  5. Doesn't anyone else find it interesting that Ali is not only debunking the possibility of an RV but at the same time basically saying that it is a long shot and not in the books anytime soon. If this is the case, the way I see it is - "don't buy any more dinar" or "if you have dinar, we will gladly take it off your hands" - maybe an RV is closer than we think - why would a business owner basically tell people it's not happening and thus lower chances of sales - I know for one I wouldn't. DT drives off our sales, they are a business and that's it - so why debunk it, unless there is more to it than meets the eye - IMO. I hope we are close. I don't know how high the rate will be but I am staying positive. GO RV!
  6. I agree with you. However, how can a country "afford" to fix these things with a currency that is worthless. They can't exactly borrow more money from other countries, they can't offer to pay someone in their currency, as it means nothing. I can't say that an RV is the answer, but logically it points in a direction for a country to be able to start making living conditions better for these people. Sure the average Iraqi may or may not care that their money becomes worth something. Of course they want running water, electricity, all the necessities...the question is can the government provide this without outside help? Having a strong currency will open up opportunities for Iraq to make the country better (including living conditions)

    50000 dinar

We were talking with a friend that said he has a 50,000 dinar note. We don't know if he's legit or what, but we were wanting to know if its real, thats all - i have only gotten mine from dtrade and 5/3.
  8. Because 4pm est is 12 am Monday morning in Iraq. The CBI can still update. If you look at the CBI rates its for 2-6 (Sunday!) so it can still very well update Monday. Who knows, but don't rule it out yet.
  9. haha....on his payroll, that would be exciting wouldn't it? I am just like everyone else here, waiting for the day to cash in! It took about a week and a half for me to get mine from 5/3. Some people are saying that the banks have stopped selling....I don't know if this is the case for everyone, but in the Bradenton, FL area 5/3 is still selling...at least as of yesterday.
  10. I'm not too sure. I also ordered some from 5/3 bank in FL and they came in today (available for me to pick up tomorrow). Not sure the denominations, but they said when I ordered it was on back order about a week and it took a week and a half so who knows, maybe our govt has some on hand or corp 5/3 got it from the CBI, if anyone else knows, I'd be interested in learning some new info
  11. I'm in the Bradenton, FL area and I bought some dinars at 5/3 bank with problem...they were on back order about a week but the people at the bank said that it was not uncommon right now. They said they will buy it back as well as selling it, but if you don't bank with them, there is a daily limit.
  12. I am glad that I could help with some news...even though I am a newbie. I am just glad that my little comment didn't get me bashed lol
  13. Yea, just seemed interesting. But I had heard that the higher denominations are harder to get a hold of due to the CBI removing them from circulation (this is just what I heard, not sure if there is any value to it) so hopefully an RV will happen sooner than later. I was hoping today but maybe tomorrow?
  14. Hey Guys, First time posting and I am more or less just passing this on, so if you don't like it, oh well. I just purchased 500,000 dinar's last week from dinar trade and chose the 25000 denominations. I just received my order today and to my surprise they are 5000 dinar denominations. Actually I found it exciting, my dad got his order last thursday and his was the 25000 denomination so it's cool to have other denominations...we were just passing this along as we didn't know if it had any value of information to those of you on here who are much wiser...just found it odd and very surprising!
