  1. Since we are on the subject why is this Exch different? It shows improvement over last seven days. http://www.exchangerates.org.uk/Dollars-to-Iraqi-Dinar-currency-conversion-page.html
  2. That link leads to a 7/22/2010 article.
  3. I just pointed out in another post that the budget says Kurds get 17% or 12 Trillion and 600 Billion in last paragraph of article. Sorry.
  4. Actually I believe it says 12 Trillion and 600 Billion for the Kurds. I think they like to make us squirm a little.
  5. The last paragraph says that Kurds will receive 600 Billion Dinar. How could they when the whole budget above is only 93 Billion Dinars. Am I reading that right? I believe we have a typo here. IMO.
  6. Guy walks in his home and the light are dim. He notices clothes on the stairs so he is thinking he may get lucky. When he gets to the bedroom he sees his wife face down and he sneaks up and has wild sex (keeping it clean) with her from behind. When finished hes goes down stairs into the kitchen for a beer. Pops open a beer and sees his wife in the livingroom. He loudly say's "you sure were good tonight honey" she yells back "shhhhhhhh quiet dummy, your moms sleeping upstairs in our bed, your gonna wake her up
  7. Good points. I second that. I'm in for the long haul.
  8. A great summary of the link from earlier. You saved a lot of reading for some here. I agree wholeheartedly.
  9. Yes. This is correct. It would read like fifty six thousand Billion. or 56 Trillion. I believe I read that correct on original post. Sorry. Lonzworth has it correct.
  10. IMO you are correct in theory. Oil prices are up even higher so there is not real Budget problems if they can maintain current oil flow or better. Personally I don't expect any action anytime soon. Not until they free up market and imports cause inflation. Time will tell. Gov't stability helps. Agree. If and when they open markets, exchange rate adjustments will be needed to stop inflation. As long as they stop printing money. I also agree that us holding their currency is in a sense, capturing money supply for them. As they know that money will not be used until appreciation warrants it.
  11. Yes, Not happy to be bearer of bad news, but this article is from a respectable source. One good point in article is they will struggle with fixed exchange rate. That will cause inflation and lead to appreciation of the Dinar.
  12. http://www.allbusiness.com/economy-economic-indicators/economic-policy-money-supply/15244777-1.html Was researching Money Supply articles and came across this prediction from Oct 2010.
  13. Found this interesting on page 20. List of Money Supply growth and how it affected Exchange Rates since 1993. Use link above I tried to copy and it scrambled numbers. Sorry
  14. http://www.iauiraq.org/reports/SectoralCommitteePapers/The-paper-of-the-Committee-on-Economic-Policy-English.pdf Older Paper 2009 I believe. Good discussion of Paris Club Debt and steps needed to satisfy them. Also mentions Monetary growth to 26.7 Tril in 2007. I'm not claiming any significant forecast info here, but several people have asked for Money Supply numbers.
  15. Thank you for your honesty and beliefs. I will never question someones beliefs. I am glad you are able to be here with us.
  16. Wow. you guys are asking for it now. I tried to say that and ended up in the negative zone. That told me who was running this site. Good luck! Expect your numbers to drop quickly because you don't share the same religion or beliefs as the rest of the crowd here.
  17. Welcome. Glad you can be here in this opportunity of investment. I actually owned a 1995 when I served. Great truck. I want an RV so we can fix the US economy and get hardworking people back to work.
  18. "Amen" facts only please. Of course the forums may go blank now.
  19. Ditto!!! This has proven to be a wait and see game. With years of education in this field, I would have not had that much faith to buy early on. Iraq has been in turmoil way to long to expect a miracle. I recently got in myself this year. Please take rumors with a grain of salt. Nobody knows anything that is why it is speculation. Should they RV? Absolutely. But we are not calling the shots here. Patience is of the essense here. Treat it like penny stock in a big oil company with very bad management. At minimum, it will appreciate some over time.
  20. Maybe he can't even get in gear. LOL
