From the tone of this article, Iraqi's are steamed that their dinar is so vulnerable to swings in value. Here's a novel idea, take pride in your nation and give your currency it's correctly adjusted value. Get the IQD off the list of exotic currencies. Pass all of your pending banking laws. Give international investors the incentive to bring their wealth into Iraq, to grow your economy. Complaining does nothing to positively move Iraq forward into the 21st century.

I wonder how much money each of these 'Reform Front' MP's are getting from Maliki? My prediction is that it is going to take Sadr's Brigade storming parliament and running all these crooks out of Baghdad before we see real reforms come to Iraq. I hope that I am wrong, but we keep seeing these troublemakers time and again stopping any positive movement.

IMF agreement test for Iraq

Yes! .......Sadr has laid down the law, today, per Yota's article....saying in so many words, i am paraphrasing here, " the corrution is gonna end when Mosul is liberated". -
Said the cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, on Sunday that "corruption and terrorism, one complements the other", while noting that he will liberate Iraq from corruption to coincide with the release of Mosul. Could not be communicated any plainer..... the crooks are leaving with the terrorists and these things are going to happen simultaneously. The crooks gotta be scared shiiteless. Gonna be a bunch of them copping plea deals.....

Sadr and his bunch have been totally fair about this stalling and foot dragging by parliament. He ( Sadr ) warned the corrupt months ago that if they failed to pass all of the laws that are pending, particularly the laws that deal directly with the betterment of life for the citizens, that he was going to do it. Sadr has been extremely patient. Maliki's 180 day promises to help the people, turned into 8 years. Now we see Abaidi, a man who truly wants these reforms done yesterday, being held up by Maliki's sympathizers in parliament. This shiite should have been taken care of in April. The laws were written up, all that was needed was a vote. The corrupt are stalling because the passing of the judicial laws means the end of corruption.....& prison or death

These gurus & pumpers are, without a doubt, the most maniacal paranoid folks i have ever witnessed. They immerse themselves in every whack job conspiracy theory of the moment & have absolutely no ability to reason or think for themselves.

He explained that this agreement prevents Iraq discretion borrowed money, but force him to buy weapons from America, "pointing out that" US arms expensive prices compared with weapons from other countries. " Complain, Gripe & Moan.......You want the best & most technologically advanced weapons to kill those terrorists with & to protect your people, don't you? It only costs a few dollars more to go 1st class. You don't want none of those cheap a** barrel bombs from Iran, now do ya boys??? We, the U.S. taxpayers, have spent OVER 6 TRILLION DOLLARS fighting terrorists in your country ...& millions more every single day that we have to "babysit you watermelons"....( just had to throw that term in there, cause i have seen Iraqi journalists use it for years....still not sure what they refer to, when they use it ?). I suggest Iraqi's dust off the old world history books and research just what it means when the U.S. has to come into a country and clean house.....look no further than Japan, Germany and Korea. When you folks allow your nation to go sideways, we gotta come in and rake your backyards. We are not going anywhere. We built the largest embassy in the world in Baghdad.....it encompasses Ten Acres, has world class electronic surveillance equipment and is fortified stronger than Fort Knox. Bottom line is this Iraq....get your house in order & start being a DONOR NATION.

As long as Maliki is free to walk about, have meetings with known terrorists such as Iran's Qod Forces Commander, Qassim Soleimani, & able to communicate via cell phone, this amped up terror is going to get worse....much worse. As mentioned here before, many times by many members, Maliki has nothing to lose. I thought a few months ago that Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khameini had threw Maliki "under the bus" but that is not the case.....otherwise Soleimani would not be meeting with Maliki in Baghdad. If Abaidi can get parliament to pass these pending laws, all of these terrorists in Iraq will be doomed. Abaidi has one hole card that he has not played....declaring marshall law but he has to have President Fuad Masum, Parliament President Jabouri, Hakim & Sadr all on board....a lot of muscle & go all in. Will he try this? I guess that depends on what parliament does when they re-convene on the 12th, unless they have changed this date. Remember, a faction of parliament, who in Maliki's back pocket, are threatening to attempt to oust the parliamentary president just as soon as they return.

Yep....."recieved them once this year". Hard as hell to make a monthly allotment last 7 months. Iraq is trying to regain control over its finances & making small strides toward a democratic government But they have to shake loose of Malilki and that Iranian clergy next door. When Mosul is retaken, all Iraq's borders sealed and monitored and all the thousands of Revolutionary Guard & Qod Forces killed or expelled and Maliki dealt with, then Iraq will flourish.

OMG......there's those words again, 'in the coming days'. I hope the disabled and special needs folks in these cities have a few pounds of food and a few dinars hidden away.....to tide them over until help arrives. I say this because the affluent/politicians in Iraq don't seem to understand the meaning of folks needing stuff NOW. Their "soon & in the coming days"has no relationship to the English meaning of these words. I am beginning to think that they use these terms in an attempt to pacify those who really need help, knowing full well that that they will never deliver whatever they are promising, in a reasonable & timely manner.
