I'm not 100% on this, but George Bush wrote into law a bill allowing U.S. Citizens the right and privilege to invest in Iraq, which includes the purchase of Dinar. You're concerns are valid, but there's nothing to worry about.

Just out of curiosity, was it stated somewhere that indeed the RV will be in the budget? Or is this just an educated guess?

So can we all then assume that once the Budget hits the desk, we'll hear about it? GO RV!!! We're so close I'm almost in tears! LOVE YOU GUYS

Kid4Dinar is right. I believe I either saw it on U.N.'s posting of currency changes, or IMF or GOI or something. I have seen that tho. That's why Nov 15/16 (or close to it) was a day to look out for. That's when (I believe) Revaluing of currency happens internationally. The date after that is Nov 31/Dec1st. Now please correct me if I'm wrong. This is not only great news for the Iraqi people, which is most important. But it may seem that this is a really good date that's been talked about by those closest to the RV. Again, just my thoughts. Very well said MikeNYC. It's a realistic, rational outlook. And you could be right. But I'm sure as you and I are hoping, it'll come in @ $2+ and our dream may come true. Regardless, we got more money back than we invested, whichever way it goes. I'm curious as to your personal feelings on it? What does your gut say? $3rv? Or 3x back on our investment? GO RV!

If I can take a moment aside from the TK bashing. Just wanted to clarify that one of the Dinar Banker locations will be in the Denver Int'l airport where I can cash in Dinar at time of RV. So by me having a Wells Fargo account, the wire (ledger to ledger) will be virtually instantaneous. Is this correct? Thanks

For what it's worth I heard the same thing about all of Maliki's parliament positions being filled except for him and wanting to make it televised so he could also announce 2011 budget as well as RV. So that I can vouch for (in my own way). As far as the rate, who knows right? Good post!

That's right, I forgot about that. Wasn't it Dinar Banker that set up locations across 20 or so airports around the country? And maybe other Dinar traders doing the same? Could mean they're waiting for RV, which could be an indicator, but the skeptical mind might also say that lots of people are buying up IQD, so let's get in on this and make some money from the currency spread. Like Mikki-RN said, today was one but also 18th (after Eid Festival) and 21st. Of course, I don't claim to have any inside info! Just my .02

I went in and spoke to my rep at my credit union. I asked if there was a max. amount that could be deposited as well as holding the funds. She told me it's checked for fraud from the place it's being wired from and that there should be no problems as long as it's legit. With any wire she told me it could take from 15 min to 3-7 hours even up to next day. It all depends on when it's transfered and how quickly the wire dept. takes to process it.

That's what I figured. The gov't and collective peoples could cause this whole "democracy" to come to a 10-year stand-still if they wanted. But like you said, it's in their best interests. I hope the entire population of Iraq know's this. Thanks ktlamm

First time posting as I've been mostly reading and learning all I can. A big thanks to all who've spent hours posting information and insight. At this point it seems rational and realistic to just wait for it to happen, whenever that may be. There's a lot of speculation and rumors, and of course some good news pieces here and there. Which brings to my question: Whether it's next week or next year, the Dinar HAS to revalue for Iraq to become a world economic player, correct? It's in Iraq's best interest to such an economic turn-around that it should start with an RV. I understand that with the political, civil and even religious unrest at times, it would be most unwise for Iraq not to RV, hence bringing on major economic change. I hope my question(s) are clear enough. Thanks Again
