OK put it this way. I have met many Iraqi, I have met many muslims, I do not agree with their views as they do not agree with mine. But I will say this. I will die defending this land and my beliefs and those I care about but I promise many more of them will die by my hand first. Not the way I want it, I can have them over for dinner and respect them. But if you think for one minute they are going to come at me and give me a choice or die and I know this in advance, they are going to have hell to pay. Don't put anything in the top one, leave it blank and just a 1 in the bottom after choosing Iraq to the US dollar and then convert. it does not accept decimal points or anything just numbers and if you put in 100 its a hundred in there.

On the first link in the upper right side. Put the choice to Iraq, then put in a 1, just a 1 in the US dollar part and hit convert Instead of being at 1170 or what it used to be its lowered to that. NOPE lol

Lost everything I have ever had down to my vehicle and my clothes in it. Truthfully homeless, I kept 3 things though, My weapon, My laptop with free wireless, and my dinar. God as my judge this is the truth, I will ride this ride to its end. I still sit and try to think of and wish I could buy more than the little I have. 99% of the people in here have more than me, but that's ok. Exactly, rv/rd seperate. I just hope and pray that what I started investing in for mine and my family futures is honored by the country that sold it. Not the vice versa. I would like to see all of this for all of us. This can change not only the lives of the Iraqi people who are in dire need of it but those of us that purchased it. This was on our part not only a chance for us to make money but by purchasing the dinar from the CBI it helped them reach the financial point in which they are currently at. If it comes back at 3dinar to 1 dollar say, with a 25,000 dinar we would have 75,000 US dollars. If we have 25.00 dinar notes and the same is at 3 to 1 then we hold 75. US dollars. It would not revalue the note, it would change the currency all together.

No, it is not the value .00086 that they are talking about to go to.86 it is the 25000 to go to 25 and the tens and fives as well. The value is a separate issue. This is off the currency itself. The only question remaining to be seen is if they co-exist together for a trade in, trading in the 25,000 for new 25.00 notes or if they will honor the 25,000. In all the prior re-denominations from past countries it was a swap. If you traded a 10,000 dollar note to the bank you did not get back ten, ten dollar notes you only received one 10.00 note. Check Venezuela for example. They did the same thing. Dozens of countries have done this, all this way. One big discrepancy is then will those who bought theirs in 1,000 dinar notes or less, ie 250, 50, etc be worth the full amount and those of us who hold the 25,000 dinar notes only have 25.00 dinar for each note on a 1 for 1 exchange making the larger worth less. That remains to be seen and is the fear on many forums currently. No one knows until the decision comes out. DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER I DO NOT LIKE IT EITHER!
