  1. PLEASE, C A L M YOUR NERVES. Give the political process in Iraq a chance to succeed. They are a fledgling Democracy. They are not use to honoring their word. BUT, because of the recent developments in the Parliament, they are being BOUND to their word. Prior to the convening of Parliament, the agreements that were made with Allawi will be honored. NO ONE wants Maliki as Prime Minister unless he is stripped of his powers….and HE IS stripped of his powers. The RV will happen shortly. Politics Iraqiya withdrawal not true, Maliki forms govt.: official Friday, November 12th 2010 6:05 PM Karbala, Nov. 12 (AKnews) A leader in State of Law Coalition (SLC) said on Friday that the leader of his coalition can form the new government during the exact constitutional period that is 30 days from the date of being assigned by the President of the Republic. Nuri al-maliki and Iyad AllawiAbdul-Mahdi al-Khafaji, a member of the parliament in Karbala province told AKnews that the agreement between the political blocs was to implement what was agreed upon in the meeting of Erbil and to be read by the chairman of the meeting and then implemented through the legal and constitutional frameworks in reference to the demands of Iraqiya demands to implement the national reconciliation and de-Baathification law.. "We announced our agreement and commitment, while the implementation process need a legal and constitutional frame, and yesterday's session was specified to elect the parliament speaker and his two deputies and the president of the parliament and no one has the interest to withdraw from the political process." "what happened in yesterday's session was merely a suspicion by the brothers in the Iraqiya List about the agreement and I don't think that any party will withdraw from the political process... The government formation process is taking place correctly, and no party has an interest in stalling the Iraqi political process." The Iraqi lawmakers elected on Thursday evening, Jalal Talabani, the candidate of the Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) as the President of the Republic for a second term and they also elected Usama al-Nujaifi as the Parliament Speaker, Qusay al-Suhail as the first deputy of the parliament speaker and Aref Tayfur as the second deputy. The Iraqiya List agreed with other political blocs that its leader Ayad Allawi will head the National Council for Strategic Policies, which is part of the executive power and replace the National Security Council in addition to other tasks, and commit the ministers, each according to his major to attend the necessary meetings. The Council includes: The local and foreign policies, the economic and monetary affairs, security and military affairs, oil, gas, electricity, water, environment and food security affairs. Its functions are developing common and responsible visions about managing the strategic files in the State's supreme institutions about the economic, political, security, services, energy issues and others. The council has secretary-general or president in addition to complete secretarial, headquarter and presidential brigade similar to the three presidencies, and the council should have a separate budget presented by the Secretariat of the Council as the three presidencies and recognized in the general budget for this year. 2. They send you that info when you request it via e-mail, and is exactly as listed, $150 per million, NO SPREAD!
  3. I don't see where their banks being closed has any effect on our cashing in here. We aren't cashing in, in Iraq, so why would it matter?
  4. Let's keep an eye on the bigger picture. This RV, while it'll make thousands of new millionaires, will ultimately help the average Iraqi establish a means of putting food on their table, developing a sense of self worth and pride, and make them feel "human" again. As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
  5. To those who keep insisting that the RV can't start at a rate of $5 or more, you need to know the current economic climate. Their wealth is mostly based upon natural resources, oil and gas. Their economic data was compiled at a standard rate of $70 per barrel. Now, it's approaching $90. Add to that, the 20% increase in known reserves, the factor of all the pending contracts for oil exploration, port development, housing development and military hardware contracts, and anyone with an economic bone in their body would know they could EASILY support a rate of $5 without creating an undo hardship on the world monetary supply. best estimates are that more than 90% of the "value" of the cash in will never see the light of physical hand to hand transfer, but will be done electronically, lessening the need for cash on hand. No matter what, the ride has been amazing, and I'm so ready for this to finally happen. GO RV THIS WEEK!
  6. I agree. The economically sensible thing to do is set the RV rate asap. Too many contracts waiting to be fulfilled, too much oil to put on the world market, too many lives on hold waiting for the promised ending. "IF" they have officially announced Malaki, Allawi and co, then they "should" be able to RV anytime now.

Big Dinar, Please provide a link to back your statement up. The mood of the people right now is on edge. With the huge build up, the excitement, and the lack of sleep, if this is some kind of a sick joke, you'll be lucky to escape the flamage. I'd personally ban you if I was the admin. We need real posts with facts to back the statement up. Put up, or shut up!
  8. Hey Slap. The best intelligence, is only as good as those people putting the plan into motion. Let's look at it this way. Suppose Allawi and his group DOESN'T walk out of the meetings today, but instead, stay the entire session, all the votes get to the EXACT same point we are at now, and they call it a night because they are just plain worn out. DOES THAT CHANGE YOUR OPINION AT ALL? Steve provided the best intelligence that he had, and did so on his own merits. MOST of what he said would happen, DID happen. NOBODY told anyone to run out and spend money on dinar. YOU did so at your own choosing. Yes, many of us have personal designs on the Dinar. When you invest, you do so under one or more reasons, least of which is to make a profit. If you are able to help others, if you are able to stand there and ask, "WWJD"? then your answer may be different than Joe Smith or John Boy Walton. It doesn't make your reasons or motives any better or worse than someone else. I hope Steve continues to feed us whatever he gets. If I can buy more dinar, without hurting my family, then I will. As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
  9. It will be MUCH higher than that, IMO.
  10. Just so that there is no confusion, I am talking about Dinartrade.com, and their COD program. In the past 24 hours, including 4 am PST, I've ordered 2.5 million additional Dinar. 1.5 on reserve, 1 million COD. GO RV!! Dinartrade.com only needs proof of cashiers check on orders OVER 1 million. Lesser amounts are a straight COD.
  11. 8:20 am PST. Just got off the phone with Dinartrade and was advised that they will honor ALL orders placed online done via COD right up to the actual RV. Wire transfers and ordering on Reserve are the only purchases effected by the post marked date of order. As I ordered 1.5 million yesterday on reserve, and the post office sent it yesterday, that part is covered. The COD orders are STILL being accepted at the old rate.
  12. Hi railroader, Just an fyi, I did buy a million Dinar from Dinartrade.com at 4 am PST at the old rate, and have been sent a confirmation e-mail with the amount due at time of delivery, tomorrow, and so I'm locked in for an additional 1 million.
  13. I have been up all night, west coast here in Cali, waiting with breathless anticipation of the big announcement. I just ordered another million Dinar online and have a confirmation code e-mailed to me, so I am set. Praise our amazing God for loving us so much, and ray for wisdom to use this money for the betterment of those less fortunate. SteveI, you are truly an amazing gentleman. God Bless You And Your Family!
  14. I have received confirmation of the same from my source, who's own source is tied in with people in Iraq. HUGE NEWS!!!!!
  15. This sounds like progress to me. The big question is, will it be enough to tip the scales in favor of the formation of their government, the betterment of their people, and the end to this very long road?
  16. In reality, no matter where the info comes from, Viper, AC, Okie, etc, it's all a crap shoot with leaders of a country who change their minds on a daily basis. I'm just grateful that someone is willing to put their neck out to provide the info.
  17. They had better. From what I understand, if this doesn't get done Thursday, the Iraqi Supreme court will invalidate the elections and force a new election next year. That would REALLY screw everything up, not only with the RV, but the suffering that those people are going through. No politician there would be safe. Riots and wide spread violence would likely break out. The entire country could be thrown back into civil war. It's not a pretty picture. Let's hope they all have their eye on the biggest picture possible.
  18. Yes, it sure does look like Lieberman, and he looks as interested in the meeting, as I am at tax time.
  19. Fox wasn't duped. It was nationally televised. This is going to happen, very soon.
  20. A great break down of the time line and events that bring up to where we are today.
  21. Steve, you provide a great service to us, and I would have done the same thing. No worries buddy. God Bless!!
  22. No harm in being honest. It's a fresh approach.
  23. GREAT post. It's a great reminder that there is MUCH more at stake than our money. Every day they don't form the government, hundreds, if not thousands of people are getting sick, going hungry, dead or dying. Let's look at the human impact this is having. God bless us all, and the people of Iraq.
  24. Sorry, didn't see it. So much activity here today. God bless you and your family too.
