But to give himself a more Arabic flair, he also goes by the name Emir (what else?) Umar al Shishani. The problem is he doesn’t look at all Arabic. No dark swarthy black beard: rather a long red beard, a kind of Chechen Barbarossa. According to a November, 2013 report in The Wall Street Journal, Emir Umar or Batrashvili as you prefer, has made the wars in Syria and Iraq “into a geopolitical struggle between the US and Russia.” That has been the objective of leading neo-conservatives in the CIA, Pentagon and State Department all along. The CIA transported hundreds of Mujahideen Saudis and other foreign veterans of the 1980s Afghan war against the Soviets in Afghanistan into Chechnya to disrupt the struggling Russia in the early 1990s, particularly to sabotage the Russian oil pipeline running directly from Baku on the Caspian Sea into Russia. James Baker III and his friends in Anglo-American Big Oil had other plans. It was called the BTC pipeline, owned by a BP-US oil consortium and running through Tbilisi into NATO-member Turkey, free of Russian territory. Batrashvili is not renowned for taking care. Last year he was forced to apologize when he ordered his men to behead a wounded ‘enemy’ soldier who turned out to be an allied rebel commander. More than 8,000 foreign Jihadist mercenaries are reportedly in ISIS including at least 1,000 Chechens as well as Jihadists Saudi, Kuwait, Egypt and reportedly Chinese Uyghur from Xinjiang Province. Jeffrey Silverman, Georgia Bureau Chief for the US-based Veterans Today (VT) website, told me that Batrashvili “is a product of a joint program of the US through a front NGO called Jvari, which was set up by US Intelligence and the Georgian National Security Council, dating back to the early days of the Pankisi Gorge.” Jvari is the name as well of a famous Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century. According to Silverman, David J. Smith—head of something in Tbilisi called the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, as well as the Potomac Institute in Washington where he is listed as Director of the Potomac Institute Cyber Centerr—played a role in setting up the Jvari NGO. Silverman maintains that Jvari in Rustavi, near the capital, Tbilisi, gathered together Afghan Mujahideen war veterans, Chechens, Georgians and sundry Arab Jihadists. They were sent to the infamous Pankisi Gorge region, a kind-of no-man’s lawless area, for later deployment, including Iraq and Syria. Batrashvili and other Georgian and Chechen Russian-speaking Jihadists, Silverman notes, are typically smuggled, with the assistance of Georgia’s Counterintelligence Department and the approval of the US embassy, across the Georgia border to Turkey at the Vale crossing point, near Georgia’s Akhaltsikhe and the Turkish village of Türkgözü on the Turkish side of the Georgian border. From there it’s very little problem getting them through Turkey to either Mosul in Iraq or northeast Syria. Silverman believes that events in Northern Iraq relate to “wanting to have a Kurdish Republic separate from the Central government and this is all part of the New Great Game. It will serve US interests in both Turkey and Iraq, not to mention Syria.” Very revealing is the fact that almost two weeks after the dramatic fall of Mosul and the ‘capture’ by ISIS forces of the huge weapons and military vehicle resources provided by the US to the Iraqi army. Washington has done virtually nothing but make a few silly speeches about their ‘concern’ and dispatch 275 US special forces to allegedly protect US personnel in Iraq. Whatever the final details that emerge, what is clear in the days since the fall of Mosul is that some of the world’s largest oilfields in Iraq are suddenly held by Jihadists and no longer by an Iraqi government determined to increase the oil export significantly. I think you may be missing my point Maggie...this woman worked for TEN YEARS for a greedy corporation, and went nowhere. She worked paycheck to paycheck without doing anything to better herself or didn't have the ambition to move up within the company...it's no one's fault but hers! I hate corpporate America as much as you do, but no one says you have to WORK for THEM. My sister in law raised three kids on her own with NO College, and worked her way up to being an executive assistant making 100K per year, and she had her 1st kid at 16! She made the neccassary moves to better her life (and she was DIRT poor). I am just sick of everyone blaming someone, or something else because they didn't get off their butts and handle their life before life handled them. Until people stop eating at MDonalds, Pizza Hut, or buying IPhones, we will have corporations and greed. I simply choose not to eat fast food and feed the beast. Corporations aren't the ones holding people back, it's their own inaction. McDonald never said "you can't attend night classes, or online classes", McDonalds never said "you must work here forever" did they? NOPE. I am not defending corporate America, merely showing that inaction and poor planning will leave you exactly where you started, if not worse off.

I then went around to every single business in town asking if they needed their windows washed. after about 6 months, I nearly had 200 businesses as clients, and had to bring my cousin on to help...I grew that business untill I had appx 500 customers, and 3 people working with me. NOW TELL ME AM I FORTUNATE? NO, I WORKED FOR IT, BUSTED MY ASS, DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO BETTER MYSELF. I was in an unfortunate situation, and did my damndest to turn it around....Ended up selling the route for 30k at age 18. As for the "student loan" cop-out, you can go to community college (like I did) and take a few classes for very cheap, without building up huge piles of debt. Even a few classes on business, accounting, legal secretarial looks great on a resume and will open doors for you, and they even have night classes. I agree that corporations are greedy, and souless, but no one says you have to work for them. But, if that is the only job you can find at the moment, then you have to do what you have to do, but it doesn't mean it has to be a death sentence, there is always a way out and up, and to better yourself. Sitting around pointing fingers and whining about solves nothing. I realize that the playing field is unfair, but whoever said life was fair? Fair is a four letter word.

I think that CEO'S are WAY over paid, and the lady should't have been arrested, but SERIOUSLY, she's bitchin about making $8.52 an hour AFTER TEN YEARS? Either she has no ambition, or is plain stupid. What comes to mind is the phrase "the world needs ditch diggers too"...The blame is on her, not the conpany. She could have take a few classes to educate herself in order to move up in the corporate structure, or moved on to another job completely. And $15 an hour for fast food? GIMME A BREAK. A big Mac would cost $9!! When I was a kid fast food was a stepping stone to other career aspirations, I don't know one person I grew up with who is still working fast food. That said, I also believe that if you are going to make FF your career, then buddy you'd better hustle your butt and learn to become managemnet material and go after the big bucks. I am really sick of this "victim" "it's everyone else's fault" mentalilty...I know jobs are hard to come by and pay less these days, but this lady made her bed..she has to lie in it...

Unreal...I was reading on another site how one of the DC security chiefs was bragging how the security measures put in place since 9/11 are a great success..he said something along the lines of, "yesterdays actions by our security forces proves they work" I guess that "shoot first, discern later" was their contingency for protecting the Homeland against a distraught unarmed new mother....we have now become Nazi Germany...if this were my sister, mother, aunt or niece, there would be hell to pay. I also noticed that there is nary a peep about this story in the news today either. An unarmed mother is gunned down in broad daylight and the cops are painted as heros, but anyone who defends themselves or their loved ones against armed intruders is and "extremist" or "gun nut". truly unbelievable how upside down the thought process has become in this country...poor woman and her baby. Heaven help them.

Assad never even used chem weapons to begin with..several different sources have proven that....This was the Saudi and Qatar funded Al-Qaeda rebels behind all the mayhem. Saudis and Qatar wanted to run a pipeline thry Syria to tap the EU's natural gas market, over which Russia currently has a monopoly. Was never about chem weapons and human rights in the 1st place. If we were going to go into to uphold human rights and save lives, we would have done so 100 other times in Africa in the last century, but there was no strategic or monetary value to it. All about the petro-dollar and selling the Saudis/Qatar natural gas, period. Whatever it takes not to go to war though, I am extremely happy for any solution that doesn't involve sending our boys and girls to war.
