What i take from this, is that the kurds were promised a new rate already, and there not happy they havent released it yet. I dont blame them, they were promised a higher rate to balance there budget around, and nothing has happened. This does tell me we are going to be alot richer soon. One last thing, there is no ways they would be talking about billion dinars for schools, it would be trillion dinars for school, makes me think they slipped up and told us something they shouldnt of........think about it

maliki came out last week and said they are changing the exchange rate, the article is on this very website, the imf and world bank are there all the time, i am sure they already have a rate set no infact i know they have a rate set. Its not that hard to see whats going on. I respect your opinion, but look around the website, and read some of the articles that are on here.

once iraq's currency becomes tradeable it will hit forex, and once it does, because its so low everyone and there mom will buy it. Iraq has no choice but to rv once it becomes tradeable or it will be market driven, and iraq would rather set the rate and let it float rather than have others decide there rate, if there going to go that route.

if your theory is correct, why did the imf come out and say iraq is stable?. Iraq's currency isnt tradeable thats a fact! Tradeable currencies can be used outside there country to pay for things, iraq's isnt, they pay there bills in u.s money (hence not tradeable). I am not trying to be rude, but iraq's currency isnt tradeable!
