  1. UPDATE: Iraq Ctrl Bank Plans To Rebase Dinar; No Time Fixed Yet rocky Today at 7:38 am UPDATE: Iraq Ctrl Bank Plans To Rebase Dinar; No Time Fixed Yet Monday, Mar 15, 2010 (Adds more quotes, details.) By Hassan Hafidh Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES AMMAN (Dow Jones)--The Central Bank of IraqCentral Bank of Iraq is planning to rebase the Iraqi dinar but hasn't decided yet on the timing of the move, the bank said in a statement Monday. "The Central BankCentral Bank affirms its commitment to its strategic projects, particularly knocking three zeroes from the Iraqi dinar," the statement said. http://www.zawya.com/marketing.cfm?zi&p=/Story.cfm/sidZW20100315000097/iq/ Ctrl Bank Plans To Rebase Dinar?cc "Despite the technical and logistical preparations for the project we have yet to decide on suitable timing to implement the project," it said. Choosing a suitable time wouldn't be linked to economic aspects only, but rather to the security situation as well, it added. Separately, the bank's senior advisor Mudher Qasim told Dow Jones Newswires that knocking off the three zeroes would improve the value of the Iraqi dinar which is trading Monday IQD1,170 against one US dollar. If the rebase decision is taken it means a current 25,000 Iraqi dinar banknote will become IQD25, and a dollar will equal only 1.17 dinars. The bank said that knocking off three zeroes from the dinar would "improve management of the currency and facilitate cash dealing." The decision was the result of debate with the economic commission at the Iraqi cabinet, it added. Currency rebasings are usually monetarily neutral and are introduced to make commercial calculations easier and cheaper. Turkey, for example, knocked six zeroes off its lira currency in 2005. Russia did the same for its currency. Qasim said one of the reasons for rebasing the Iraqi dinar is because the bank has managed to reduce the country's high rate of inflation. The inflation rate fell to 6.1% in December 2009 from a record high of 60% in late 2006. In July 2004, the now dissolved U.S. civilian authority in Iraq decided to print the current Iraqi banknotes replacing those that used to bear the picture of the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. Iraqis then had three months to swap their old dinars with the new ones. The central bank's advisor said that if the project was implemented the central bank would need to print new banknotes. - By Hassan Hafidh; Dow Jones Newswires; +962 799 831 831; hassan.hafidh@dowjones.com Copyright © 2010 Dow Jones & Co. 2. So if this is to be, then what's the take on this?? 4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
  3. Guess it would be possible to think that this part of revelations has aready come to past. Revelation 18 (King James Version) Revelation 18 1And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 7How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. 9And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

  7. Probably missing something but the US Military Doesn't get paid in Dinar. Far as I know they dont get paid in any foreign currency where ever they might go. Of course its been a while since i've been in... And seems If somewhere out of the compunds that they can go & purchase any type of goods they would probably take the US dollar or find a street dealer that would convert it. Maybe I'm not getting it. Very possible. What about the US workers connected to the military. Think they get paid as well with US Dollars going into a bank account of there choice back here in the states. Guess I need help with this as well. Just trying to understand. Thanks

  12. Iraqi Finance denies intention to delete the zeros of the national currency 09/02/2010 09:02 09/02/2010 09:02 . Arbil, February 9 (AKnews) - U.S. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and the Iraqi economy, the ministry's intention to delete the zeroes from the national currency of Iraq, adding that the Iraqi economy, do not complain about inflation, there is no need for the implementation of this strategy. The Prophet told Fadel Kurdistan News (AKnews) that "the process of deleting the zeroes of the Iraqi currency has no economic gain, and any positive impact on the purchasing power of the process of Iraq, but will also create other problems, to issue coins of small denominations such as" 10 money "and "50" penny quarter of a dinar and a half dinars. " . He explained that "did not issue a formal decision on this matter, was not talking officially start work this fiscal policy to raise zeros from the Iraqi currency." He noted that "the only win for the deletion of zeros from the currency is issued in small groups only, either in terms of their purchasing power will remain the same as dollar against foreign currencies and the euro, and there will be any increase or improvement." ". For his part, said the economist is capable Rizgar that "if the replacement of the Iraqi currency, Nabgy we work to maintain the stability of buying and selling rates of the Iraqi currency against foreign currency, for a limited period, so the process does not cause loss of citizens who deal in buying and selling foreign currency, often What is this period of six months. " ". He said "the deletion of zeros does not help to increase the value of local currency, because the high value of the currency is linked to the security situation of the country, as well as the ability of local production and commercial activity and reduction of inflation rates in the country." It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank of Iraq said in a statement issued on February 6 this year, announced a plan to delete the zeros of the Iraqi currency before the end of the year 2010, and has completed 50% of the preparations for the work according to this strategy. It is hoped to be completed this fiscal policy later this year. (آكانيوز)ت: و ز 9/2/2010 (AKnews) T: and g 9/2/2010
  13. That is very interesting and my little ole simple mind will put some thought into your feed back. Kinda like everyone refers to revelations about how its fact that Iraq is on its way to wealth. Suppose it also could be understood that part aleady has happened. Revelations has been as still on going. And reading it almost didnt seem like taking from that land was the thing to do either. I'm by no means an expert on any of this as everyone can tell but when you dig deeper into this as far as the bible goes. Just puts that sick feeling into my gut. Guess that whyit bothers me when I see alot of people praying over this. suppose i'm getting something different out of the bible than most.
