I am not promoting anything, but the following site was posted on this forum weeks ago as selling 50, 250, 500, and 1000 dinar notes. Someone said that they had actually ordered some of the lower denominations and received them. There are photos of all the notes at the following link. If I read this correctly, he spent $25,000 and only purchased 500,000 IQDs? The firm in Japan that's selling the Dinars is getting rich and should be investigated. He should have received somewhere close to 25 million Dinars for that type of investment.

Iraqi Court Forces Parliament Back to Work Published October 24, 2010 | Associated Press BAGHDAD -- Iraq's highest court on Sunday ordered parliament back to work after a seven-month political impasse that has blocked the formation of a new government. Iraq's federal Supreme Court called the delay unconstitutional. Parliament's acting speaker, Fouad Massoum, told The Associated Press that he expects to have a meeting date set by the end of this week. The four-page court order termed as "illegal" a June decision by lawmakers to delay parliament's return and give leaders time to broker political alliances. "The federal Supreme Court decided to cancel this decision, binding the parliament speaker to call on lawmakers to convene parliament and resume work," read the order that was issued Sunday. The delay, it said, "violated the constitution." Parliament's 325 lawmakers have met only once, briefly in June, since March 7 elections that failed to give any party a ruling majority. Since then, dueling political leaders have resisted returning as they try to corral alliances for enough support to name new government leaders, including the prime minister, when parliament reconvenes. Without parliament in session, the government is in a holding pattern. It cannot move ahead with any major decisions, including business-friendly reforms such as streamlining bureaucracy and clarifying rules for foreign investment. After meeting for just under 20 minutes in June, lawmakers agreed to leave the parliament session open but unattended -- a technicality aimed at allowing negotiations for choosing leaders continue beyond constitutional deadlines. I just heard that on the season premier of Fringe that they will be focusing on the IQD RV in the alternate universe. Amy Madigan is going to be making an appearance as Olivia's mother and reportedly she will have pockets full of 25,000 note Dinars that she's going to exchange for millions. Walter then appears and finds out that his Dinars have been all lopped and he freaks out and has to go back into Saint Claire's mental institute. Next we find out that "Walternate" is not only the US Secretary of Defense, but that he really is in charge of the CBI and determines what the RV value will be. Oh yeah, I wasn't supposed to tell anyone but I got all of this information from a "friend of a friend" whose cousin is somehow related to a top government official that oversee's the lunch room at the CIA headquarters in Langley. He also verified if from a "secret" contact he knows who picks up the dumpsters at the White House. This is "Top Secret" information so please don't let anyone know that I leaked it.

I JUST SAW THAT TOO and wondered why the USD/IQD were not only PAIRED, BUT were the TOP "pair" on the list!!! It might be because the person who subscribes to the site added that as one of their favorites.

I have been to all the FOREX websites that I have access to - both websites, online trading sites and ForEx Pro, and can find nothing. Unless you can provide a link to verify your claim then this cannot be substantiated.

It could be many months before Iraq ever forms a functional government. The only hope for an RV is if the head of the CBI does it on his own. If we have to wait until a government is formed for the RV to take place it could be well into 2011 for that to happen.

So, if I understand this correctly, almost 131 million US dollars worth of Dinar was sold at this auction. Why would this large of amount of Dinar have been purchased if anyone thought that the currency "might be" lopped and thus devalued?
