  10. Oh come on now! This bloke expects me to believe that the country of Iraq wishes to stay in the fiscal toilet??? To what end? FIVE more years of not being able to have *ANY* purchasing power by the everyday Joe the Iraqi? So the GOI can reap several hundred billion if not, a trillion USD from oil exports over the next five years? Seriously, I do not believe this for one single second - I have seen some really outlandish things on here, but this my friends is the most obscene "diatribe" yet. I am calling BS on this! Does anyone think the Saudis, Kuwaiti's, Qataries, etc would ever let an oil rich neighbor intentionally drag their economy down. This is no different than a scum bag moving in next door to your beautiful home with manicured lawns and picket fences only to make his place into a car dump...... Second time I am calling BS!

  12. ugh! Well, no. You could not be MORE wrong on this one! WE (the US) installed Saddam in power to fight the Iranians, who, just had a revolution and disposed of the US friendly Shah of Iran........
  13. I have believed this very same thing for quite some time now. Think about this: ALL the lists agree to Talabani staying for a second term, hence Talabani is not going anywhere. WHO has been running the country, even up to today?? ................Maliki Maliki has never left office and there was never *any* agreement to him being a "caretaker". Allawi is the speaker of Parliament, and holds other important positions, hence, how he is able to travel to Russia and make deals, and go to Kuwait and make deals, and, and, and....
  14. Good evening; I am Mel Jenkins, Man-on-the-street reporting live from the Klandathau system of planets and the important meeting to dicuss the future meetings of the elected leaders of Iraq, to whom are in contest for the top position of Prime Minister. This just in.............The preserved corpse of al Maliki brought to quorum the question of staging a meeting to discuss a meeting of the recently ascended beings formally known as "Kurds" and their involvement in the progress of the formation of the Government of Iraq. Also in attendance was the preserved corpse of elect Dr. Allawi, and the preserved corpse of the religious despot al Sadr. While the preserved corpse of al Maliki was visually and comunicatively "open" to the intervention of teh ascended beings formally known as "Kurds", the preserved corpse of Dr. Allawi rejected the notion that ascended beings know anything of substance related to the material world. Meanwhile, the preserved corpse of the religious despot al Sadr continued his defiant stance to returning to Iraq while the preserved corpse of al Maliki continued to reign in power. This is of course relating to the known fact that should the preserved corps of the religious despot al-Sadr ever set coffin into Iraq again, while the preserved corpse of al Maliki is still in power, would certainly be arrested, shackled, and placed into a kiln to be burned to ashes once and for all. While the preserved corpse of Dr. Allawi does not think that the preserved corpse of al Maliki would do such a thing, the ascended beings formally known as "Kurds" did in fact warn the preserved corpse of the religious despot al Sadr that the former would in fact happen, as they have seen into the future and know it to be true. When asked of the ascended beings formally known as "Kurds" of why they are not able to see into the future as to the outcome of the struggle for power and control within the Iraqi government? They replied; "al Maliki has made a pact with the most unholy one of whose name we shall not mention. Due to this "super coalition" the future is clouded in uncertainty as that now the 3rd oldest being in the entire cosmos is now involved heavily in the formation of the Iraqi government to fruition, finality, as the most unholy one recently retorted; " Even I am sick of this SH!T". I am Mel Jenkins reporting from the Klandathau system of planets, tune in tonight at 11 on channel 5895.9 for further details. Good night all my viewers, and may God bless all.
  15. Well, here ya go. This is why the Kurds are not happy with Allawi - he is taking governmental issues in his own hands and making deals with other countries. YET, Allawi is not holding ANY governmental office in Iraq. They say he was there as a rep for crescent petroleum, and in the same sentence delineates details of "purpose of the visit is to discuss the future of cooperation in the energy sector in Iraq and other countries in the Middle East." A representative, as in the case of "member of the board of directors of crescent petroleum" does not have the political weight to make such arrangements. Makes you go "what?"
  16. WOW! Well howz that fer ya? A cleric, one who supposedly preaches truth, forgiveness, and turning the other cheek - shows his TRUE colors as nothing more than a murdering sumabitch who cares nothing about anyone but himself. This is why the Iraqi people AND the US needs Maliki in power - he can control religious despots and trample on "insurgents" Allawi does not have the chutzpah to do the same.
  17. http://www.ninanews.com/english/News_Details.asp?ar95_VQ=FDHIMG Baghdad (NINA) –Member of the Iraqi National Alliance MP Baha al-Araji of the Ahrar Bloc supported by the Sadr Trend revealed that “The leader of the State of Law’s Coalition Nouri al-Maliki will join the competition with other candidates on the Premier post after giving guarantees to correct his leadership.” He stated to the National Iraqi News Agency Sunday “”We agree that the Premier should be from the National Coalition only in according to mechanisms set for choosing next PM.” “Maliki will join the competition with other candidates for the PM post, but he should submit guarantees to correct his way of leading the government and improving government’s performance,” he added. “The National Coalition is the only choice for the SLC or the INA,” he stressed, noting that “N0065t few days will witness important developments inside the NC.” The INA, which has 70 seats in parliament and comprises the SIIC, Sadr Trend, National Reform Trend, Fadhila Party, and National Conference in addition to other parties, has presented three candidates for the PM post represented by Adil Abdul Mahdi, Ibrahim al-Jaafary and Ahmed al-Chalabi. The discussions between the INA and SLC were suspended due to adherence of the SLC to nominate Maliki for the Premier post and demands of the INA to replace him. The country witnessed political activities conducted by the four winning blocs in elections to form government since approving elections results by the federal court on June 1st, but these activities did not succeed to due to disputes over which bloc is authorized to form next government. /End

  19. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/21/world/middleeast/21briefs-BOMBING.html he Islamic State of Iraq, which includes Al Qaeda in Iraq and other allied Sunni insurgent factions, claimed responsibility on Friday for the suicide bombing this week that killed 61 Iraqi Army recruits and wounded at least 125 other people in the deadliest single act of violence in Baghdad in months.
