Obama's envoy in Baghdad to discuss efforts to defeat "Daash"

ABADI HOLD A MEETING WITH GENERAL JOHN ALLEN

 

Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL General John Allen arrived in Baghdad , Iraq on Wednesdayto meet with senior Iraqi government and security officials.  During his meetings with Iraqi officials, General Allen will discuss the Coalition’s continued support for Iraqi-led efforts to degrade and defeat ISIL, as well as recent developments in the region.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed on Thrusday, with John Allen the international coalition against  ISIL in Anbar .

A statement issued by the Office Abadi  PUKmedia got a copy of it on Friday: The Abadi, received in his office yesterday the international coalition coordinator for the fight against the terrorist gangs ISIL Gen. John Allen and his accompanying delegation.

The statement added that during the meeting, they discussed developments in the field of the war on terror gangs and victories achieved by forces in Anbar and follow up the decisions of the meeting leaders against ISIL, terrorism, held recently in New York, in addition to support Iraq in its war against ISIL.
