Dogmatic1
Is there something in place that will keep someone, or group of people of targeting individuals just because they share a difrent oppinion, or they just dont like them and want to be malicious? A targeted person can rack up negatives very quickly if they are ganged up on by 10 15 people who go back and put a negative in each post they have done in the past 6 months. We take those things into consideration. When a member is banned it's due, largely,to the fact that the member is causing trouble. We don't just ban members because they have a negative reputation count. We use the measurement as part of making the decision to ban a member. It wouldn't be fair to ban a member over his dissenting opinion. You can have an opposing opinion and communicate it in such a way that your perspective is valued. Or if you happen to be a member who likes to post other sites chat logs and receive a huge negative reputation count, the member will not be banned over that either. It's when a member is deliberately causing trouble (calling people names, using profanity, threatening members, etc.) that the measurement comes into play and we use it as a determining factor. So rest easy, wer'e not trigger happy!
