Hosey SSG Michael Wesley Hosey, 27 of Puyallup, WA passed away on September 17, 2011 in Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan while serving as Intelligence Specialist with the US Army. Michael was born in Birmingham AL, a 2001 graduate of Clay-Chalkville High School and was a member of Champions Centre in Tacoma. SSG Michael W. Hosey served two tours of duty in Iraq and two tours of duty in Afghanistan. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, The Meritorious Service Medal and The Purple Heart for his actions in combat.
