Below is what Dinarbanker.com posted on their website, and sent me via email. Even if you didn't purchase your dinar through Dinarbanker.com, it's good info, IMO. I have also posted the link to the information as follows:http://www.dinarbanker.com/information-articles/iraqi-dinar-redenomination-and-exchangeability.htmlIraqi Dinar Redenomination and Exchangeability"There have been a tremendous number of inquiries about the recent news that Iraq will be increasing the value of their currency and, at the same time, introduce new denominations into the Iraqi economy sometime in 2010 (currently planned). Specifically, it has been reported that the Iraq Finance Minister issued a statement saying they have prepared a plan to increase the value of the dinar against the dollar and will introduce 25, 10, 5, 1, 1/2,

Lisa
Yes, they are really good about updates, and they've never given me false hope. Additionally, they've been quick to respond to my email inquiries and never pushed for us (my husband and I) to keep purchasing dinar.

Dryden01
The nice thing about the Iraqi approach is that many of us can now wait out redemption in order to qualify for long term capital gains treatment. If you are in the 10% or 15% income category then according to the bush tax cuts (for the wealthy :> ?) you would pay 0% capital gains tax for a long term gain and only 15% on short term capital gains in 2010. After the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of 2010, in 2011 the Obama capital gains tax increases on the poor and lower middle class taxpayers will climb substantially so you need to sell out in 2010 if you are making under $33,000.00 U.S.D. to avoid being fleeced by the socialists.
