Baghdad, INN- The 100 days asked by Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki to resolve

standing issues and fulfill his reform program, said Iraqi MP Wednesday.

There are a lot of intricate problems accumulated over the past decades and the

period demanded by Maliki will not be sufficient to settle the issues ahead

said Alia Nassif from the Iraqi White List. Maliki asked for the 100 days after

the parliament had approved the general budget plan and allocations for each

ministry had been decided. This time frame was set to meet protesters’ demand

for an all out reform program, Nassif said noting that the government has

started in the right direction and accomplished some projects to fight

corruption but there is a lot to do.
