This short and sweet...my RV prediction based on what I know and not based on any motives. In fact I hope I am wrong

Removal from Chapt 7...It will not happen in Feb. Late March at the soonest after elections. My guess is May.

HCL - Summer/fall 2010

RV - Anytime after Chapter 7 release. Over $1 to 1 rate. Anything less makes no sense.

Everyone is welcome to there opinion, but in my opinion, Iraq does not move fast at anything. These events will continue to take time.

Thanks for the post Kap!! I agree that Chpt. 7 is critical but I think this gets lifted sooner than you think..... $1.47 puts this bad boy in the range for the GCC in 2015.

Wouldn't it be dumb to remove the Ch 7 before the RV? I mean, that's the leverage the US and others have to see to it the RV happens.

imo iraq must pass hcl then rv...without rv they cannot get out of chapter 7...one of the stips the UN put on iraq..for removal of chapter 7

Well I agree that they do not move fast. However I beleive the HCL was passed today.

I disagree with your time line. Chap 7 needs to be done BEFORE the elections, or Maliki can kiss the office goodbye, and too many other countries want him in that seat. I think we will see the capt 7 lifted as early as this week, as late as next week. Also I think the rate will be more on par with the former IMF record pre-chap 7 of between 2 and 3.
