In the chat they are saying there is rumor the HCL has passed which is profit sharing of of oil revenues. Hopefully someone out there can shed some light on the rumor board for this.

I have heard from a few people that Ali believes the RV is within hours of the HCL passing. So as soon as we get confirmation of this we will find out if he's right.

However the first paragraph indicates " Linked to the Vice-President of the Economic Committee in the House of Representatives Yonadam Kanna, we approve the oil and gas law, the resolution of the differences between the central government and the Kurdistan region of Iraq on the oil contracts" stating "we approve the oil and gas law"---complicated translation as it does contradict further down in the other paragraphs. We shall see.

I see no hard facts that indeed the HCL has passed into law. I am searching for anything that presents itself to say such has been done . Lets hope Maliki will do that for us today as a post I read tonight earlier this evening suggests. Then I will be a beleiver.
