What banks are really participating in selling/buying

I have yet to start a account with one of the banks that are supposed to participate in this great exchange. I was hoping for our community to use this thread as a suggestive site to point me as well as anyone else who has not chosen or started a account with a bank that is cooperating in the IRD trade. Names of banks and perhaps why you would suggest this bank over another would be very helpful.

I just opened an account with Bank of America. They have been active with the dinar throughout the process.

I literaly just got back from Chase and Wells Fargo both received notice not to deal with Iraqi Dinars.The good news is at least there is a buzz going on in the banking community.

Some states only have chase and wells fargo.so whats up with that?

I have accounts set up with CapitalOne and check with them a couple

of times a month,and they have assured mthey will be able tho handle

the whole transaction

I called a local BOA yesterday and they said they did NOT deal with the Dinar but do deal in foreign currencies. Is it only at certain branches?

I agree. I will not use a bank. Checked with B of A and there spreads are crazy.

DT for me, but then again I'm only 3 hours away from them.
