Regulations and restrictions that are/have been created by our government to limit and punish domestic production are the cause of the flight by businesses to offshore locations,... in order to compete Globally in emerging markets. Environmental regulations, Labor Requirements, and Litigious pressure created the perfect storm for us to be sold on the value of a "Service Based" economy. (which we are programed to believe) means that we can create National Wealth by mowing each others lawns and making each others beds.

Let us all know how the "trickle up poverty" works for you and yours in the future years!

Ok I really hate to bring this up because it's modern history so that means we ALL should be aware of it. Bill Clinton did not balance the budget, congress did, the president can not craft legislation that's congress job. That supposed surplus was dependent on projections being upheld, which of coarse never happened. W gets elected and repubs spent money like drunken sailors, causing the take over of congress only two years into w's FIRST term. So for the last eight years DEMs have been in control of the purse strings, and they showed those drunken sailor repubs how to really spend money. So point your fingers were you want the facts are in the history books. Fact: the dems have spent more money in two years than all the past congresses combined. Did you hear that......combined.

Although alike in many ways you can’t use the same type of fertilizer or the same amount on all of them… you have to treat every species of plants different for the best results. Same with economies…

Sure I don’t like the man but find someone that is not corrupt, has actual political knowledge , isn’t a die-hard liberal, socialist or gaining something from him in the process… You find a person like that and I will show you someone that doesn’t like Obama.

All the funding of the operations of the Federal Reserve comes from the US Treasury.

The seven members of the Board of Governors are appointed by the President.

The Secretary of the Treasury controls the US Treasury which is a cabinet post…

The S of T is a part of the executive branch since that is a cabinet post and well we all know controls the cabinet the President (Obama) really does have some control of the FED.

Weird isn’t it?

Please… in the future it might behoove us (myself included) to take a little time to understand something before posting or making snap judgments.

We all are here for a common goal… at least I think we are (unless your last name is Soros).

So we should help each other try to understand our view points (if they make any sense). I generally don’t have a problem with someone correcting my statements… just as long as they have something to back it up… It is only fair.

I never said the US economy was the same as China's. What I said was, devaluing the US dollar will help to compete with countries like China who refuse to increase the value of theirs. Economists feel that decreasing the value of the dollar is not a long term solution but can help in the short term.

The Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE BANK, much like the CBI, which is not owned or operated by the US Gov't. How could we take it over? We don't own it!! There are 13 wealthy families in the world that own all of the central banks and set all of the monetary policy through the IMF. What would Obama's point be in bankrupting the US? Doesn't make any sense. All of the Republican's who just won house seats that ran under the Tea Party are not going to be able to do ANY of the things they told you they were, as they were put into office by the exact same CORPORATIONS who have been purchasing elections in this country for decades. They may have started out as patriotic American's who were sick of high taxes and deficits, however, they were completely co-opted by big money, big business (thanks to Karl Rove). They cannot overturn Obamacare, as the President can VETO anything they do, if it were to get through the Democratic Senate, which it won't. They don't have enough of a majority to override a Presidential veto. All we've accomplished is more gridlock and nothing getting done for the working (or non-working as the case may be right now), middle class of America, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT WALL STREET LOVES. Wake up people, follow the money, that's where the power always is.
