Maliki said during a joint news conference after the meeting and attended by agency (Voices of Iraq) that "efforts did not go in vain, and today we were arranging consultations in accordance with the rule rather than exception for one," noting that his meeting with Talabani and Jaafari was "necessary and important that we have reached a stage recent consultations to form the new government in conjunction with the approach after the parliament session. "And is expected to determine the political coalitions Home within days their final positions before the parliament session, which is supposed to be held during the day, at the time of continuing the talks to persuade Iraq to participate in the government and receive the posts of the National Council for strategic policy and the Presidency of the parliament and attend the parliamentary session in order not to have the other blocks (the National Alliance and a coalition of blocs Kurdistan) to go to form a majority government.Maliki said, "we seek to form a government together all the ingredients to push the political process forward," pointing out that "the meetings and the meetings will be held daily, morning and evening between the leaders of political blocs during these days."
