1967 track ...Album "Surrealistic Pillow"

RIP Paul Kantner & Marty Balin

Another manifesto for more than a generation.....

US counterculture scene masterpiece

Song even appeared on one of the Sopranos episodes and Tony'd  hum it ( just before or after killing someone....).....Really strange scene

It's been of course one of the biggest regrets of my life to have been unable to go and see Woodstock....Hard to accomplish task anyway...I was (still am ) living in Italy, was only 12 y.o.  at the time, didn't know a single word of English, broke, my parents obviously wouldn't let me etc.....

I can't help but loving this one.....Obviously

I know the following is un-original to say ( and likely typical of my age by now....66...) but so be it: They don't make music ( let alone writing that sort of lyrics) like that anymore.....Fact...Which is bad esp for the younger generations....People, parents, older brothers / sisters, uncles, granddads/grandmothers  etc need to pass all of that on...It's called CULTURE

I ( just a nobody) try to do my very little part in regard to this

Craig Chaquico - guitar

Papa John Creach (RIP)  - fiddle
