In song "Brazil" at one point he sings "Meu Brasil Brasileiro" ....  My (Brazilian) Brazil...I deem it moving somehow...He did love his country a lot and gifted all of us with such  beautiful music....in his own Country the man is an institution....Obviously....

 

Obrigado Maestro ( Portuguese for Thanks Master)...I know, I'm sure you're creating great music in the spiritual dimension where you are now......

 

He was a great inspiration to Michael Franks...........Then they became friends and collaborated to a few music projects.....Michael dedicated  some songs to Jobim while he was still alive and after his departure he dedicated an entire ( great) album to  his memory
