"The bank has directed to open a number of its branches every Saturday, in order to provide office dues and receive petroleum products," said a statement of the bank, seen by Al-Iqtisad News. A statement of the bank, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the director of the Rasheed Bank, Basem Abd Ali Youssef, directed that a number of bank branches be allocated to open their doors on Saturday every week." The statement added that "the decision to open the branches on Saturday of each week came in order to submit payment of dues to the offices (outlets) and to receive petroleum products." The media office said in a statement, of which Mawazine News received a copy, that "in order to continue providing the service and under the direction of the General Manager Basem Abd Ali Youssef, it was decided to open a number of bank branches during Eid Al-Fitr."
