Iraqia Leader discuss progresses, deadlines

The leaders of Iraqia List discussed during an extended meeting on Friday results of the negotiations with political parties and the constitutional deadlines to choose a Speaker and a President. The constitutional deadline should end in July 10, 2010. A statement issued by Iraqia List said that its leaders took the convenient decision regarding this deadline; however, it was not divulged in the statement. The leaders also discussed the negotiations that took place with the sundry coalitions determining the issues and matters to be discussed during the meeting that will take place this week with senior figures scheduled to visit Baghdad.

At the end of the meeting, the bloc discussed its internal situation and the efforts exerted in order to make it a political entity that adopts a methodology in administration and decision taking.
