Council approved the Baghdad governorate majority of its members to balance the Municipality of Baghdad and the Baghdad governorate funded projects of regional development allocations for the year (2010).

The media source in the Committee on Relations and Media reporter (and the Iraqi News Agency Information / INA) that the launch of that money would be conditional on what has been requested from the allocations will be subject to revision and amendment.

The source added, This announcement made by Chairman of the Board to maintain full-Zaidi During the confirmation hearing on the budget, adding that the council decided not to go into details of those budgets, identify and assess what went so projects in addition to the postponement to go into the extent of their economic feasibility and construction Pending confirmation of the size of these allocations to be monitored by government within the regional development budget for the year (2011) and Zaidi previous year's budget that was worth 625 billion Iraqi dinars after that we expect that the allocation for the year 2009 (2) trillion Iraqi dinars.

He explained that the increased level of funds provided to the capital Baghdad, has become a popular demand, especially after improving the economic situation of the country with oil recovery system and the expectations of improvement in daily production rates and the growth of oil exports, pointing out that infrastructure needs to the activities of reconstruction and development.
