Skills of new Army Secretary nominee??

From a 9/18/15 CNN news item:

 

President Barack Obama on Friday nominated Eric K. Fanning to be secretary of the Army, which could make him the first openly g*y secretary of a U.S. military branch.

 

The U.S. Senate must confirm Fanning before he can lead the Army.

 

No sweat.  slightly edited lyric's from Harry Reid's favorite song from Gilbert & Sullivan's operettas:

 

"He polished up the knob so carefully, that now he is the ruler of the Queen's armie." 

 

He might actually be qualified - don't know much about him.  But the reason he is being nominated is because of his sexual identification which, in this down the rabbit hole administration, is the only attribute (aside from total loyalty to leftie insanity) that matters.
