Urgent / Federal Court approves 2 MPs of Al-Iraqiya, INA

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Federal Court has approved two candidates from Al-Iraqiya Alliance and Iraqi National Alliance (INA) as members of the country’s new House of Representatives.

An Iraqi state-run TV station reported the event on Wednesday.

The court yesterday approved Iraqi election results, but suspended two lawmakers, one from Al-Iraqiya and the other from the INA.

The Al-Iraqiya Alliance replaced its candidate, and the new candidacy has been approved today, while the INA kept its candidate who also got approved.
