Revealed by the House of Representatives Secretary Baker expectations authenticates the House of Representatives on the federal budget for fiscal year 2015 smoothly without debates about the discussion in the Council.

or the proportion of the deficit that may give rise to criticism by some MPs, but the final say is what the relevant parliamentary committees would be provided within the report.”

It is said that the House of Representatives held its extraordinary about the budget and has read the first reading and raise its board until the seventh of January 2015.

The Iraqi Prime Minister has said that without reaching an agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Baghdad cannot export oil from fields in the north and the main oil pipeline from Baghdad is now under the control of Islamic State (IS) insurgents.

In the recent meeting of the high committee of Iraq provinces [excluding Kurdistan Region provinces] held in Basra, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi stated that the current financial crisis of Iraq is due to the drop in the price of oil.

“Iraq is not a country without money, but one rich in natural resources and the attendant income,” said al-Abadi.

He related the current financial crisis of Iraq to the fall of oil price and decrease of Iraqi oil exports. He added that the current crisis is temporary.

Furthermore, al-Abadi pointed out that without the Kurdistan Region, Iraq can never export oil from oil fields in the north of the country.

He also noted that exports through the main pipeline of Iraq are not currently possible as it is under the control of IS militants.

The Government authorizes the head of the investment authority to sign the Convention on the settlement of investment disputes

The Cabinetdecided on Tuesday, the head of the investment agency Sami Al-araji, the validity of the signature of the Convention on the settlement of investment disputes between States and nationals of other States.

The affiliate in Iraq (28 July 2012) to the Convention on the settlement of investment disputes between States and nationals of other States, after approval by the Cabinet and Parliament, the Convention aims to promote investment and disputes between States and nationals of other States to resort to conciliation and arbitration, in order to accede to the Convention on the settlement of investment disputes.
