Discuss economic and development issues in light of political changes in the region

hold the World Economic Forum meeting on the Middle East, in the Dead Sea area from 24 to 26 May being, under the slogan «create the conditions for economic growth and stability.

And participates in meetings of the forum of about 900 personal with the leaders of global, regional, and leading figures in the fields of industry, commerce, media and civil society organizations, to discuss issues of economic and development at the international and regional levels, in light of political transformations in the region and the global economic slowdown. It is expected the participation of a number of politicians to discuss the Syrian files such as file and the peace process in the region, including the Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi and the foreign ministers of several countries.

And Jordan hosts this regional meeting of the Forum for the seventh time, in partnership and cooperation with the Fund's King Abdullah II of development, where Jordan is considered one of the most Middle East countries hosting meetings of the forum, because of its political and economic stability, in addition to infrastructure attractive to international conferences and regional levels.

According to economists, the host of the forum comes as part of efforts to highlight Jordan as a stable investment destination, attracting projects for generating employment opportunities for Jordanians.

Said Dr. Omar aerosol, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fund's King Abdullah II of development, that the Fund, as a partner organizer, is keen to be axes Forum-related priorities of Jordan's economic and development, noting that these themes will focus on pressing issues in the Arab region, such as economic governance, and the relationship Participatory between governments and private sector institutions, and mechanisms to generate employment, youth empowerment, and encourage pioneering work, and increase investment in infrastructure.

The heads of the regional meeting of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East at the Dead Sea this year several characters economic and media, notably the CEO «Zurich» Martin Sen and CEO of National Bank of Kuwait, Ibrahim Dabdoub, the CEO of the company «Consolidated Contractors International» (CNN CC) Samer Khoury, CEO of SABIC Saudi Arabia Mohamed past as well as to assist the chief editor of Al-Sharq Al-Awsat Mina Laaribi.

It is noteworthy that several activities will precede the start of preparatory work of the Forum during the month of May, notably to meet global youth leaders, and the meeting of the Global Agenda Council, during which he is proposing ideas and initiatives to be included in the work of the Forum.

In turn, the Jordanian authorities organization is keen to facilitate the participation of Jordanian personalities, especially young entrepreneurs, in the activities of the forum, they provided opportunities for networking and exchange of ideas with economic figures and global investment.

The Forum provides a platform intellectually and media important issues of economic and political development, as issued by the Group of reports and indicators in the areas of performance measurement and competitiveness, and organizes the World Economic Forum series of regional meetings specialized, such as the meeting of the Middle East, and other meetings of the countries of East Asia and Latin America.
